God's isaiah 28:10 reveals HIS name
    upon the converted little children's
    spiritual baptism:

math 28: 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost
    :

20 Teaching them to observe all things
    whatsoever I have commanded you
    : and,
lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of
    the world
    . Amen.

acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent,
and be baptized every one of you in the name
    of Jesus Christ
    for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

GOD's written Words For HIS spiritually converted little children to
    enter HIS Kingdom.

john 3:3 "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God
    unless he is BORN AGAIN."

Written GOD's Words that must be discerned in spirit for they
straightforwardly stated that by being solely "born again" would
only let a man see the kingdom of GOD.

In reality, Nicodemus a well known teacher of the law those times
was at a lost on how to understand what our Lord JESUS CHRIST
    said unto him.

john 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

Not being led by the contextual flow of GOD's Words, Nicodemus
    was rebuked:

john 3:9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

john 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel,
    and knowest not these things?

Our Lord continue further and declared the keys to enter
    HIS Kingdom.

john 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man
be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
    kingdom of God
    .

matt 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye
be converted, and become as little children, ye shall
not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

john 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that
which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

GOD's isaiah 28:10 paved the way for a clear
Spiritual revelations from HIS written Words
    to enter HIS Kingdom.

    The time of the apostles

Was the trend reversed during the time of the apostles? We find in the book of Acts that Christ's disciples aggressively preached the gospel, and instances of mass "conversions" were recorded:

ACTS 2:40-41 "And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourselves from this untoward generation. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."

ACTS 4:4 "Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand."

Let us not misconstrue the people who are "called" and those that are "chosen." Did we not see the same thing in the ministry of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ? Multitudes heard "the voice shouting in the wilderness" and were baptized by John. Many of these followed our Lord. Great multitudes followed our Lord in the mountains, along the seashore, and wherever He went. He fed five thousand men in one instance, and another four thousand men excluding women and childrren in another. He healed many people from their diseases. Were these great multitudes really "chosen," or were they only "called?" Succeeding events led to the answer. Our Lord was arrested, and later mocked and tortured. He was presented to the high priests, and lastly to Pontious Pilate. When Pilate presented Jesus Christ and Barrabas to the Jews for their choice, where were these great multitudes? Did the people of Israel hear a dissenting voice from a deafening shout "CRUCIFY HIM! CRUCIFY HIM!?

Where were these great multitudes when the promised Holy Spirit came at Pentecost? Did not the apostles only counted a scanty one hundred twenty (120) deserving souls at the time of final accounting? Could people still insist on thwarting the great message of, "many are called, but few are chosen," and keep on invoking God's mercy and love? Man should be able to distinguish truth from the dictate of his intellect and the influence of his feeling.

The acts of the apostles confirmed the trend set by our Lord. They were always aware of the wiles of the tempter, that they were not lacking in their warning to the Christians:

    1. Warning for the preaching of another gospel different from the original teaching of the apostles:

GALATIANS 1:8-9 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

Paul felt that some people were creeping and tried to inject strange doctrines different from the original gospel. Religious sects will take this warning of Paul as referring to the doctrines of the opposing denominations which are different from their respective doctrines. Let this serve as a stern reminder.

    2. Paul again warned of an introduction of "another Jesus" different from the Jesus recognized by divine revelation:

2 CORINTHIANS 11:4 "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

Would Paul give this warning if he did not sense that a different Jesus or different recognitions about Jesus, were being introduced to the product of mass conversions of Christians? Let us remember that the Bible is the inspired word of God. This warning of Paul was confirmed historically, when Constantine the Great called the Nicaean Council of 325 A.D. In that "religious summit," a clash of beliefs ensued among the followers of Arius, and the followers of Athanasius. The followers of Arius defended his teaching denying the divinity of Jesus Christ, while the followers of Athanasius took the stand of Jesus Christ being both God and man.

    3. Paul again warned of strange doctrines that could waylay those who found the truth by writing:

EPHESIANS 4:14 "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried with every wind of doctrine, by the sleights of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive."

How deceitful indeed is Satan when people are misled into thinking that this refers to their respective religious sects. Paul directed this admonition to the Christians who followed the original and perfect Christianity. May the reader see the distinction between the original and perfect Christianity, from the kind that he has in mind.

With all these warnings which we did not even hear from Jesus Christ during His time, could the great message of, "many are called, but few are chosen," be possibly reversed in the ministry of the apostles? Do we expect the reversal of the trend set by our Lord inspite of the jitters expressed by the apostles, which all pointed to the continuance of the trend? We will find later that the answer is being confirmed by present day events on Christianity.

This should be distinguished from what Peter wrote, which pertains to physical life:

1 Peter 2:13-14 "Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well."

In the application of the Ten Commandments, man thinks only of the literal-physical. No wonder, the Rich Young Ruler who only followed the literal-physical did not merit being a follower of Christ. The Scribes and Pharisees were rebuked for hypocricy by cleaning only the outside, with the "letter of the law."

Anything contrary to the Standard of God is an abomination to God. This is "not passing through the door." And, it is only God Who can set the standard of (spiritual) good and evil. Who can see the unscriptural beliefs and practices without God opening our "eyes?" Who can understand the great spiritual mesage of the Word unless God opens our "ears?" But the spiritual miracles are not appreciated by many people. They like the "letter of the word" that benefits the "flesh."

People are made to believe that morality through religiosity is the vehicle to eternal life. Unknown to many people, human wisdom coupled with emotion are responsible for the standards of morality under the different religions, and denominations within each creed. These are the "fruits of the Tree of Knowledge" that people "eat," unaware of the sin of Eve symbolizing them. Man’s standard of good and evil, can never find conformity with the Standard of God. No wonder God told Adam and Eve:

Genesis 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

But the Natural Man is spiritually blind as not to see the Way of God. He thinks that anything moral is already acceptable to God not knowing that this is only "cleanliness on the outside." God therefore, gave this warning:

Proverbs 16:25 "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Proverbs 28:9 "He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination."

Man thinks that sincerity is all to Godliness. God refutes this.

Romans 10:2 "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge."

God limits the use of the intellect in man’s SPIRITUAL LIFE. Man is , however, free to use it in his PHYSICAL LIFE. In fact, this is what Christ told His disciples:

Matthew 6:8 "...your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him."

Christ was referring to the intellect and physical strength that man is endowed with that are necessary for his PHYSICAL LIFE. Thus, man is free to use his God-given intelligence in political, social, economic and scientific undertaking. He can set his standards on these matters for his benefits. Man, therefore, is given a free hand in setting the standards in politics, economics, society, and science. Honor and respect in these fields may be conferred when due. This is equivalent to Adam’s use of intellect in giving names to the animals. He used his intellect without "eating the forbidden fruits of knowledge.". . . . .

How can God explain His words when He is a Spirit? It is written, "And the Word was God" (John 1:1); and Jesus Christ is the "Word of God." (Revelation 19:13) It is made clear therefore that God and Jesus Christ "is" represented by the words. These are the written words in the Holy Bible. What is unfortunate is, while many people are all sincere in their desire to please and to be with God, they are not, however, one in their understanding of what they read in the Sacred Book. The cause is human perception and interpretation of the word of God.

With the truth that God is represented by the words, He can therefore explain His own words through the very written words in the Bible. Again, this should not be on man’s terms, but by the direction of God, through His words. Thus, the proper way to read the Holy Bible is expressed in:

Isaiah 28:10 "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"

Reading the Holy Bible therefore, is not by the book or by chapter or verse by verse as is commonly done. Otherwise, we simply get the CONTEXT of the story. God is talking more than and beyond the story. God is speaking in PARABLES:

Ezekiel 20:49 "Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?"

Psalms 78:2 "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:"

Mark 4:34 "But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples."

While many people think the reason why God speaks in parables is in order to simplify the message; on the contrary, it is the opposite:

Matthew 13:15 "For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."

Romans 11:8 "(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day."

Is the Prayer taught to the Disciples expressed in parables? Or, did Christ speak plainly? Our Lord must be speaking "in tongues" when He said:

John 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

1 CORINTHIANS 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

In the beginning, the Bible was written without division into chapters and verses. It was only in the 12th-15th century that this was done. Stephen Langton divided the Bible into chapters in about 1228 A.D. R. Nathan divided the O.T. into verses in 1448 A.D. Robert Stephanus divided the N.T. into verses in 1551. The entire Bible, divided into chapters and verses, first appeared in the Geneva Bible in 1560 A.D. The Holy Bible, or part of it, was translated into more
than 1,600 different languages and dialects in the 1960's. Man's role, therefore, in the WORD OF GOD is limited to the writing, printing the book, and dividing it into chapters and verses. As to its interpretation, let God -the AUTHOR- explain everything through His words, for the "Word was God." God is a Spirit. His words are also in "spirit."

JOHN 6:63 " (Jesus christ speaking) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

ROMANS 7:14 "For we know that the law is spiritual...."

FOUR KINDS OF PEOPLE IN OUR TIME

    1. To the first are the people who do not believe in the Bible as the word of God. These are the different religions of the world that have their own "inspired writings."

    2. To the second group belong the people who, although they know that the Holy Bible is the word of God, do not put much thought
about it. They are preoccupied with some important matters in life.

    3. To the third are the religious people in our time. Trusting in man's intelligence and capability, they spend many yrs. in Bible schools "burning the midnight oil," so to speak. With the diploma/s in hand, they profess authority from God as prophets, apostles, evangelist, pastors and teachers. Just like their conterparts during the time of Christ, they draw many people with their eloquent preaching of the law of God. Everything is seen in them as Christ saw in His time: the title and honor (Mat. 23:8-10), authority and heavy burden imposed on the people (Mat.23:4), distinction in attire (Mat. 23:5-7), peculiarity in speech, manner and conduct (Luke 20:47), and beautiful prayers (Mat. 6:7).

The fact that Christianity is divided is the proof that no one, but God alone can can reveal the "truth." Many people think otherwise by saying, "How can God do it when He is invisible." "We will go crazy trying to understand the Bible." "We will just rely on 'Bible authorities' after all, it is their role to explain and exhort as God's representatives."'

In many verses, God exposed that man is incapable of unraveling the great mysteries of His words. Many people are deceived into believing that just because a doctrine is supported by Bible verses it already constitutes the truth. This is what is being preached by the 101 Christians denominations today. Each of them claims the "truth" on the basis of this misconception of truth.

    4. To the fourth, just as God had "not hidden" Himself from the Disciples who were like "little children," God is equally recognizable to their counterparts. They shout their clear recognition of the "One Lord and One God." And, since "the Word was God," their clear recognition of God follows their clear understanding of the great message of the Holy Bible.

    How to read the Bible:

ISAIAH 28:10 "For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:"

For their physical life, they use the intellect, feeling, and physical strenth to the fullest extent. That is what they see in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ as model. He worked as a carpenter, and never did they see or hear Him asked the Father for His physical needs. Paul followed the path shown by the model. He worked as tent maker (Acts 18:3) and never did he ask God nor his fellowmen for his material needs (Acts 20:33-34). He wrote:

1 CORINTHIANS 11:1 " Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ."

For their SPIRITUAL LIFE, they see themselves as "nothing" in the eyes of the Lord. What can they do? They therefore fully ang truly depend on God on matters pertaining to Him and His words. This is what "little children" means to them.

MATTHEW 18:3 " And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Morality and the Tree of Knowledge

Spirituality is the sole domain of God. It involves cleanliness of the "inside." Morality the fruit of religiosity, man’s sphere on the other hand, encompasses cleanliness on the "outside." It is only spiritual truth that can set the line separating the two. A real Christian lives in a world of spirituality where he could see his PHYSICAL LIFE and SPIRITUAL LIFE walking hand-in-hand as Jesus showed the Way. This is the Way to eternal life, as God in His human manifestation in the person of Jesus Christ showed by example. This is the spiritual TOWER that should be built according to the specification of God, with "materials" provided and "construction" supervised by Him.

To summarize, morality is the socio-political standard of righteousness. It is responsible for the peaceful and worthy relationship among people. It is founded on the virtues of honesty, sincerity, justice, and forthrightness.

Religiosity is religions’ standard of Godliness. It is the product of man’s understanding and interpretation of the word of God. Religiosity is the "instrument" believed to be the vehicle to eternal life. It is closely akin to morality. Because it is the product of the intellect and feeling, diversity of religious beliefs is the result. Thus, people have varied concepts of reaching the kingdom of God. This is typified by the sects of the Pharisees and Sadducees during the time of Christ. They had a common basis, the word of God handed down to Moses. Yet they could not see eye-to-eye on religious matters.

Today, many religions have been "invented" by men. Each religious group is divided into many denominations. We are the witnesses whether there is unity and harmony among them. Do they speak the same "language?" The "curse in Babel" has not passed away.

Spirituality is God’s standard of righteousness. It is revealed from God’s own explanation of His words. God speaks a unique language - the spiritual tongue. God’s words are expressed in parables. They are written in a "book sealed with seven seals." Not even the prophets or the apostles can decipher this language or "open the book." Only the Lamb of God can break the seals of the book.

THE EARTH STANDING ON ITS FOUNDATION

It has been preached by known authorities of the Bible in the pulpits for more than a millennium and a half that the earth does not move for it is standing on a fixed foundation. This is what they read in the Bible! It was thought that the sun revolves around it. How easy for man to be taken by his own intellect! 1 Corinthians 3:18-21 states: "Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise...let him become a fool (a spiritual infant), that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God: for it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness...the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men..." Are not people being awed by the religious wisdom of men?

Only a few centuries back did so-called Bible authorities realize that the earth is not really standing on a fixed foundation. It is the sun that is fixed, and the earth is orbiting around it. It took science to prove man wrong with his theology -- the LITERAL interpretation of the Bible. The knowledge that science offered man, however, did not profit him SPIRITUALLY. It only proved man wrong with the use of his intellect in interpreting the Bible. It is still God with His explanation of His words that feeds man with the "living bread." If earth to man is the planet where he lives, to God it refers to man himself! Watch now how God applies His Spiritual Language:

The spiritual earth has ears to listen: "O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the Lord (Jeremiah 22:29)." Just as the spiritual earth has ears, "he" has also mouth to speak and, thus, "he" should keep silence: "But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him (Habakkuk 2:20)." The spiritual earth on its foundation, therefore, refers to the chosen man that is standing on the fixed foundation of truth. "The earth removed from its place" is for that man to veer away from the WAYS of God. Did not Jesus say, "I am the way?"

The LANGUAGE OF GOD is known to Christ only. Man, without the Spirit of God, considers this language foolishness (1 Corinthians 2:14). However, after man received the Spirit of God, he "acquires the mind of Christ:" "For who hath known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)." This is fulfilled when Jesus explains every parable or "prophecy" to His Disciples (Mark 4:34).

    The Word is alive![/B]

Stories in the word of God are not incidents that simply happened in the past. After all, is not God represented by His words? "And the Word was God" (John 1:1). Just as God is alive, so are His words. Just as Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead, so are "the words to be resurrected from the dead letter." (2 Corinthians 3:6) God is speaking in parables. (Ezekiel 20:49)

Because the words of God do not pass away, spiritually speaking, the story of Gideon must be seen during the time of Christ.

Matthew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

The Jews thought the Romans were their "enemies" when they expected the Messiah would deliver them from political bondage. They were thinking of "physical things." Christ was speaking "spiritual things."

John 6:15 " When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

    Jesus saw it otherwise.

John 18:36 " Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world…."

If what is written about Gideon is literal-physical, the message is spiritual in the life of the disciples and modeled by Jesus Christ. "God manifest in the flesh" (1 Timothy 3:16 KJV) was to show the Way to the chosen. The powerlessness of Gideon fighting the enemies were expressed by Jesus Christ in:

John 5:19 "…Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself…"

The physical enemies of Gideon therefore as they apply to our Lord as model showing the example, and to the chosen, have their corresponding spiritual equivalent in:

Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

    The Spiritual Language of God

Since God is a spirit, it follows that His words are spiritual. The Holy Bible, therefore, is unlike other books authored by men. It is "sealed with seven seals, and only the Lion of the tribe of Judah and the root of David can break the seals and open the book." In essence, only Jesus Christ can explain His words.

JOHN 6:63 "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."

ROMANS 7:14 "For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal..."

2 CORINTHIANS 4:18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Even Christ’s apostles did not understand what He was saying, till our Lord explained or demonstrated the meaning.

    Example:

JOHN 2:19-20 "Jesus...said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?"

Did Peter, John and James and the other disciples understand what our Lord was talking about at that moment? No! It was only after our Lord "explained" it by means of a demonstration:

JOHN 2:22 " When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said."

JOHN 2:21 "... he spake of the temple of his body."

It is very clear, but only a few know about it, that the "Word of God is a spirit." No one, but He alone therefore, can and should explain it. Did not Ezekiel realize that God was speaking in parables?

EZEKIEL 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

Did not Jesus Christ speak in parables?

MARK 4:34 "But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples."

Therefore, the word of God are expressed in parables. If it were not so, our Lord Jesus Christ would not have stated:

MATTHEW 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

If everything written in the Sacred Scriptures will all come to pass, are they not therefore like prophecies that are being fulfilled? When? Only in the future? It is written "there is nothing new."

ECCLESIASTES 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

Therefore, what are written are fulfilled "all the time." It is for this reason that "no prophecy of the scriptures is of any private interpretation."

2 PETER 1:20 "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation."

The word of God are expressed in parables. The word of God are "prophecies." Who can explain and decipher them? Some people take the role of God to explain the parables and the prophecies. These are the religious leaders who, like the Teachers of the Law during the time of Christ, were the last persons to know the great message of the word.

    1. Did Nicodemus, a Teacher of the Law, understand the parable of "born again?" (John 3:3-10)

"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:" -- John 3:1

"The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God..." -- John 3:2

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." -- John 3:3

"Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" -- John 3:4

Look how Nicodemus, a teacher of the word of God, cannot understand spiritual things! This revealed his true "color." While the people listening to him thought that he was a man of God, in the eyes of Jesus, he was only a NATURAL MAN!

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." -- John 3:5

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." -- John 3:6

"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." -- John 3:7

"The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." -- John 3:8

"Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?" -- John 3:9

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?" -- John 3:10

How many preachers and teachers of the Bible today, thought to be messengers of God, understand "spiritual things?" As our Lord said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words will not pass away." What is written about Nicodemus is a part of the word of God. It is truth. Will truth pass away? Cannot our Lord see what He saw in Nicodemus in our time? Do people see it? If they are the followers of these "messengers of God," where will they both end?

MATTHEW 15:14 "Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch."

    2. Did the Scribe who asked the "first of all the commandments" recognized the "One Lord and one God?"

MARK 12:28 "And one of the scribes came, and... asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?"

MARK 12:29 "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:"

Of course the Scribes and Pharisees believed in "One Lord and one God." In fact they professed to worship the God of their father Abraham. But that is only from their point of view. This is, however, contrary to Christ’s vantage point:

JOHN 8:54 "Jesus answered... it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:"

JOHN 8:55 "Yet ye have not known him..."

How many people profess to believe in "One Lord and one God." Many! Does that satisfy the prerequisite to "Loving God"? To believe in "One Lord and one God" is not enough.

JAMES 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe..."

It is the clear recognition of God that is the first step in "loving God," and then ultimately the "love for fellowmen." (Mark 12:29-31) Which comes first? To KNOW or to LOVE? Perhaps nobody will say, "To love comes first before recognition." What is unfortunate is, while many of us know this by heart, when this applies to matters pertaining to God, we "cannot see" it. Has the word of God passed away on "spiritual blindness?" Is there anything new about the word of God? Does it change with the times? Where is the place of the theology on EXEGESIS?

    CONVERSION INTO A LITTLE CHILD

God defines a little child as a suckling (Isaiah 28:9, KJV "Whom shall he teach knowledge? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breast.") Literally, how could I, or any man, be converted as such as proposed by our Lord? I realized that like a suckling who cannot talk without being taught, eat without being fed, and walk without being helped; SPIRITUALLY, I cannot speak the Word without being taught by God, eat spiritual bread which is the Word of God (Jeremiah 16:15) without being given "by the Father from heaven" as taught by Jesus in the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:11 "Give us this day our daily bread)," and walk on the WAY without being aided by God. The following statement of our Lord now has a deeper message to me: "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and the prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes (Matthew 11:25)."

God seems to convey the message that He does not want human intelligence in spiritual matters. He tells us to recognize His role of providing spiritual wisdom (James 1:5-8). And, it is the Holy Spirit that will teach; not any man (1 John 2:27: "But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things...) This is difficult for many people to believe.

This jibes perfectly with the prohibition of "eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge." God, however, allowed Adam to use his intellect in giving names to the animals (Genesis 2:19-20) A dividing line has been drawn between the use of the intellect in social, economic, political, scientific and other matters; and its non-use in spiritual matters. I "confess" I was startled to find this truth!

MOVING A MOUNTAIN TO THE SEA BY FAITH AS BIG AS MUSTARD SEED

Here again, using the LITERAL language of man, Christ seems to have lied for no one yet can claim fulfillment of this promise. However, with God’s explanation of His words, He could never be a liar. It is Satan who is the liar (John 8:44). The mustard seed is one of the smallest of all seeds. Faith as big as that seed, therefore, appears too insignificant to people. However, it is God Who measures the degree that warrants the power to move a MOUNTAIN. God explains spiritual mountain as referring to man himself (Judges 9:36). One reference to the SEA is: Psalm 77:19 "Thy WAY is in the SEA...and thy PATH in the great waters..." Therefore, Christ has not really lied. A spiritual infant who has faith as big and solid as a mustard seed can really move himself to the way of the Lord.

    SPIRITUAL LIFE & PHYSICAL LIFE

Did God nullify the physical aspect of the law with His Spiritual Language? Is man now allowed to commit physical stealing, murder, adultery, etc.? God answers the questions in: 1 Thessalonians 5:23 when He admonishes man "...to keep the BODY and SOUL blameless..." God properly delineates the line separating Physical Life and Spiritual Life. Physical stealing, therefore, applies to physical life; while spiritual stealing pertains to spiritual life. Physical adultery for physical life, while spiritual adultery for spiritual life; physical murder for physical life, while spiritual murder for spiritual life, etc. The literal application of the Word cleanses the "outside," while the spiritual word cleanses the "inside." We heard our Lord rebuked those who simply followed the LITERAL aspect of the Word:

Matthew 23:26 "Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also."

"A WOMAN IS NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK"

The foregoing demonstrated how God explains His words. It was God Who was speaking. Paul expressed this in:

1 Corinthians 1:10 "... by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

The MAN speaks! This is the fulfillment of 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 where it enjoins "WOMEN to keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted unto them to speak...and if they will learn anything, let them ask their HUSBAND." Who knows that WOMEN here pertain to the people, both male and female (Galatians 3:28); while the HUSBAND refers to God (Isaiah 54:5)? God said, "Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord, for I AM MARRIED UNTO YOU (Jeremiah 3:14)." When God speaks, it is MAN that is speaking! When people speak as if having authority to speak for God, it is the WOMEN that are speaking!

Now it can be seen why religious sects do not agree in their understanding of the Bible. It is the spiritual WOMEN in them that speak in their respective churches. Is it still a wonder why traditional Christianity is divided? We have never seen this in the 1st century Christianity where the MAN, that is God, was the one speaking. The prophecy of our Lord is fulfilled: "Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division (Luke 12:51)."

    An excerpt from aida's post:
    The SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE of God

We ask God, "LORD, IN MANY CASES, WHY CAN’T WE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING? As if God is saying, "Don’t you know that I am speaking SPIRITUAL THINGS, while you are limited only to literal-physical things? To follow your literal understanding of My words, I would have been the liar, instead of the serpent, in the following:"

GENESIS 2:17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die."

"Did Adam and Eve die in the day that they ate the forbidden fruits? You yourself know that they did not die within that day! In fact, they bore many sons and daughters thereafter. I speak "spiritual things," and I alone can explain them, through My words. Am I not being represented by My words? Who can understand that Adam, indeed, died within one day if I will not explain it? Your day is different from Mine:"

2 PETER 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

"Take note that Adam, indeed, died within one day. In fact, he was short 70 years from 1,000 years, which is one day for Me.

GENESIS 5:5 "And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died."

Can you now trust Me for the clear understanding and explanation of My words? Remember I alone should you trust.

JAMES 1:5-8 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

    GOD's written Words revealed that:

The Jews for their hardheartedness, it is written:

Romans 11:10 "Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back always."

Romans 11:11 "I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy."

Therefore salvation was opened to the Gentiles and the claim of exclusivity for the Jews is refuted and put to naught.

Romans 9:6 "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:"

    Quote:
God entrusted His words to the Jews in the beginning, and now to people belonging to the Christian religion. Unwittingly this religion as evidenced by its division into sects and denominations has followed the path of the Jews. Here is where we hear from our Lord the classification of people:

Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left."

    The sheep are the “chosen”

    The goats are the “called”

The offspring of Abraham for not recognizing Jesus formed the religion of Judaism. People believing in the Holy Bible call their religion Christianity. For ignoring the taboos, if Jesus during His time found only two sects, the Pharisees and Sadducees; today Christianity is divided into 1001 sects and denominations each claiming the truth.

    The enigmatic Messiah

The Jews were waiting for the promised Messiah. The Messiah came. They did not recognize Him; but worst, they crucified Him (Mark 15:12-14). Today, Christianity preaches Jesus is the Messiah, but look how He is identified. If salvation is on Christ, how could the Christian religion preach several Christs? To note, the doctrines all were launched two centuries after the birth of Christ.

    Warning

Jesus warned that several “Christs” would be preached by false prophets, showing great signs and wonders.

Matthew 24:23 "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

A similar warning was sounded of by the Apostles.

2 Corinthians 11:4 "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him."

    Jesus said:
Matthew 24:25 "Behold, I have told you before."
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Just sharing an excerpt from our brethren's cyberspace assembly and perhaps for those called.

    Something to think about:

For the dimension of the Ark, the following are excerpts from Wikipedia regarding the different measurements. With this we can, more or less, figure out the size of the Ark made by Noah based on the instructions of God.

    From Eastman’s Bible dictionary:

    * Standard cubit - elbow to end of middle finger (20 inches).

    * Lower forearm cubit - elbow to base of the hand (12 inches).

Considering the following, how physically realistic and feasible for all the things that happened in the Great Deluge? How could all animals and insects in pairs, from the largest animal to the smallest being gathered, accommodated in a small Ark measuring only 300 cubits in length, 50 cubits in breadth, and 30 cubits in height? Following is excerpts from Wikipedia:

“A cubit is the first recorded unit of length and was one of many different standards of measurement used through history. It was originally based on measuring by comparing to one's forearm length. The Egyptian hieroglyph for the unit shows this symbol. It was employed through Antiquity, the Middle Ages up to the Early Modern Times, especially for measuring cords and textiles, but also for timbers, stone and volumes of grain.

“The largest animal is the elephant, the male weighs about 24,000 lb (11,000 kg) with a shoulder height of 3.96 metres (13.0 ft), and the smallest insect, the fairy fly that is considered to be the smallest insect known in existence. The fairy-flies are tiny wasps from the Mymaridae family. The Costa Rican fairy-flies males are no larger than .0139 mm in length. Many of these fairy-flies are only about .5 to 1 mm in length and there have even been some found to be no larger than 0.2 mm. This means it was only 0.008 of an inch. Fairy-flies are parasites, which lay their eggs on other insects. Their favorite hosts include beetles, flies, leafhoppers, and booklice. It would take a microscope to see these tiny wasps.”

How could all these animals, including the smallest insects that do not even thrive in a particular place, be brought by Noah to the Ark as God instructed him to do? So also the foodstuff and water needed to sustain all these living things for so long period of time in the Ark that lasted for a little less than one year. For the two elephants alone, data from circus people, “each drinks around 100 to 150 litres of water daily, or 37 gallons,” therefore for the two they consume around one and a half drums a day.”

Considering the size of the Ark to accommodate all and the food requirement, so with the kind of container to provide water for the animals and the family of Noah, one needs to think of the feasibility accomplishing this great undertaking.

    Truth about creation

    On the creation of man:

God created man with “free will,” that is, the freedom to think and express what is in the heart called feeling or emotion. It is in exercising “free will” that God expects the people to humble themselves in order to realize His promise of eternal life with them. In no way does God control or withhold what was given free in determining who among the people deserve to be with Him in eternity.

    On the creation of nature:

In like manner, God created nature allowing to take its due course in order to sustain itself. For example, rain occurs from the process of evaporation and condensation. When the water in the clouds becomes too heavy, precipitation occurs and we have rain. Earthquakes happen with the rearrangement of “faults” below the ground. In geology, “a fault is a planar fracture or discontinuity in a volume of rock, across which there has been significant displacement” (Wikipedia). Volcanoes erupt due to intense and uncontrollable heat below the ground, thus causing mountains to burst. The universe that is composed of planets, stars and everything in it, all works in perfect harmony because God created it that way, and allowing everything taking its due course, as man in exercising his “free will.” Would God violate His own design without being true to which He is known for?

In law, earthquakes and all uncontrollable catastrophic events are called acts of God. All these should only be considered “acts of nature.” Therefore, considering the truthfulness of God with His creation, the Great Deluge could not have happened literally without certain violations of nature from its right and proper course.

Example, in the Great Deluge if the highest mountain was submerged with water; thereafter, where did all the water go since it cannot escape to the sea for it must have been of the same level, and the ground did not have the capability to absorb all.

    The “tongue” of God

Everything written in the Holy Bible is truth, and we have to accept everything. God has His "peculiar language” that perhaps many people overlooked:

Eze 20:49 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?

Psa 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

However, God used the language of man, Hebrew for the Old Testament and Greek for the New Testament books. The Bible is translated in different languages and dialects of the people reading it, for example, English to the Americans and British, Spanish for the Spaniards, Tagalog to the Filipinos, and so forth. It is obvious therefore to many people thinking that they could understand and interpret the Holy Bible as it is written in their respective lingo. A warning is given by God, but it is ignored by many preachers of the Holy Bible.

2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
