i just wanted to know if anyone has who has traveled to an oecd country country has applied for a korean visa? i read somewhere that if you have traveled to an oecd nation in the last 5 years or have a valid visa, all you need to submit are the korean visa application form and photocopies of the oecd countries visa and arrival stamps. i wonder if this is still true?

busan via ktx one way. The price online and at the ktx train station is the same which is around 50K one way for ktx train which will take only 2.5hrs travel time. Kung gusto nyo makamura, pwede kayo magtrain yung mugunghwa 28k one way kaso matagal 5 to 6 hrs ang travel. Pwede rin kayo magbus from seoul bus terminal to busan terminal which only cost 22k won yung pinakamura or 32kwon yung regular bus. Travel time is 4.5hrs. If you plan on going directly to trick eye museum, mas ok yung bus kasi malapit yung busan terminal sa trick eye. Isang sakayan lang ng train from nopo train station to oncheonjang train station. Lakad ng onti papunta sa homeplus at sa likod nun malapit na yung hotel na kung saan located across ng hotel yung trickeye museum. Luckily, yung heosimcheong spa is located on the same building (3f) while trickeye is sa basement.

Day 5- unahin nyo na yung haedong yonggungsa temple. Medyo malayo ito kasi. Then dalmaji-gil trail-di ko pa ito napuntahan but malapit sya dun sa haedong. Next will be haeundae beach then nurimaru apec house then gwangali beach. Yung haeundae to nurimaru pwede yan lakarin tapos gwanganli siguro kelangan na magtaxi pero malapit lang din yan. After gwangali punta kayo centum city which I have no idea what this is but I assume ito yung shinsegae dept store.

Day 6- taejongdae ang unahin nyo in the morning kasi tulad ng haedong dadayuhin nyo ito kasi medyo malayo. After that, bumalik at maglunch sa jagalchi market. Across the jagalchi market is the nampodong shopping district so I guess ito na rin yung nampodong gukje market. Sa nampodong gukje market, andun malapit yung yongdusan park which is also the location of the busan tower.

Day7- beomeosa temple is near the busan bus terminal so mas mainam na sa araw na lang na ito kayo pumunta ng trickeye. Malapit din sa trickeye ay yung cablecar sa busan which is located sa geumgang park. Pwede lakarin or kung nagmadali kayo ay magtaxi kayo. Yung cablecar, paakyat yung bundok so makikita nyo dun yung full view ng busan from the mountain kaya recommended din.

Kung gusto nyo ng nightlife, you can go to seomyeon kasi ito yung popular place para sa inuman/party.

    Hi,

Para po sa mga familiar sa lugar, ano po ba ang pinaka-malapit sa Myeongdong exit/entrance #2 (i heard na may escalator na sa exit na ito) among these GH:
    > Zaza Backpackers 2
    > Namsam 3
    > Myeongdong Guesthouse

Pasensha na po at hindi ko kasi directly ma-compare ang mga details sa website & tripadvisor kaya di ko ma-establish which is which. I-finalize lang namin which to reserve this March kasi may kasama kaming senior citizens.

    Salamat!

You must also consider the road leading to the hostel, hindi lang yung escalator.

Gusto rin kasi nila malapit dito or Dongdaenum mag-stay para makalakad-lakad & shop sila sa gabi or early morning around the stores.

    Salamat!

Hindi ko pa naranasan tumira sa Myeongdong or Dongdaemun area so I'm really not credible enough to recommend. Intayin natin ang ibang PExers.

BTW, senior citizens are allowed to use the elevators at the station.

Okay thanks fatgrrl_slim. Will wait for inputs from other PEXers then.

From my trip last year, ang observation ko kasi sa mga MTR stations ay ang elevators ay very central ang location. Most of the time, you end up walking longer to and from the elevators rather than just taking the stairs directly.

We stayed then at Hongik and used exit 2 going to our GH. Super na-appreciate ko ang escalator sa exit na yun especially on nights when super pagod from all the walking. Hehe...
