^Perhaps due to the success of Sisterakas and OMT, A Moment in Time (Coco-Julia) will get the prime Valentine playdate of Feb 13. The JLC-Sarah will open in March - Black Saturday. ITAMAAW will still film key scenes in New York. I think that instead of positioning the Richard-Marian on the same playdate of Feb 13, they should keep the Feb 27 playdate to give the other Richard starrer Seduction a full month in the cinemas, with AMIT sharing the last two weeks.

10 Star Cinema films lined up in 2013
    Posted at 01/03/2013 8:23 PM | Updated as of 01/03/2013 8:28 PM

MANILA, Philippines -- ABS-CBN's film production outfit is going all out with its line-up of big screen offerings this year as it marks its 20th anniversary.

Founded in 1993, Star Cinema is gearing up for a packed 2013, with several movies starring the Kapamilya network's biggest stars confirmed to be in the works.

Here are some of Star Cinema's 20th anniversary offerings local moviegoers can watch out for this year:

    "A Moment in Time"
    Starring: Coco Martin, Julia Montes
What we know so far: After "Walang Hanggan," the onscreen "love team" flew to Europe to shoot scenes for the film. Martin announced the big screen team-up at the "Walang Hanggan" thanksgiving concert in October.
    Release date: February 13, 2013

"It Takes A Man And A Woman" (Working Title)
Starring: John Lloyd Cruz, Sarah Geronimo
What we know so far: Co-produced with Viva Films and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the third installment in the Sarah-John Lloyd series of films will see Laida (Geronimo) and Miggy (Cruz) go through "changes" as a couple, some years after the events seen in "A Very Special Love."
    Release date: TBA

    "On The Job" (OTJ)
    Starring: Piolo Pascual, Gerald Anderson
What we know so far: Directed by Erik Matti, the film has been two years in the making, according to Pascual. In "OTJ," Pascual portrays a National Bureau of Investigation agent, whose job puts him at odds with his wife. Anderson, meanwhile, takes on the role of a "hitman" on the run.
    Release date: TBA

    Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla launching movie
What we know so far: Star Cinema PR executive Roxy Liquigan, in an interview with The Buzz magazine in its January 2013 issue, said the film will be a romantic-comedy. The untitled project is the first full-length movie Bernardo and Padilla will topbill together.
    Release date: TBA

    Angelica, Angel, Toni, Bea project
What we know so far: Although no subsequent details were made public since it was announced in March last year, Liquigan confirmed to The Buzz magazine that the project is still in the works, and is slated for a release some time this year. The untitled project is the first-ever team-up of four of ABS-CBN's most recognizable leading ladies.
    Release date: TBA

According to Liquigan, other Star Cinema projects lined up this year include (6) Kim Chiu and Xian Lim's first movie together. In an earlier interview with ABS-CBN News, the Kapamilya actor expressed his excitement for the Joyce Bernal-directed film.

"The other project (by Bernal), na horror naman, (7) for Vhong Navarro, which is co-produced by a Malaysian producer," Liquigan said.

Film director Chito Rono, best known for his horror movies such as "Feng Shui" and "The Healing," will likewise be directing two projects for ABS-CBN's film production arm this year.

After its back-to-back horror offerings in 2012, "Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang" and "Amorosa: The Revenge," Star Cinema's "maindie" division is now gearing up for a comedy film starring Eugene Domingo, Jake Cuenca and Enchong Dee.

According to Domingo, Skylight Films, a division of Star Cinema, will release (10) "Tuhog." Written by Ronnie Velasco and Jinky Laurel, the comedy project was originally submitted as a film entry to the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival.

ABOUT SHOWBIZ Ni Nitz Miralles (Pilipino Star Ngayon) | Updated January 9, 2013

Mas alam ko na kung ano ang gusto kong gawin at gusto ko pang gumawa ng mga ganitong pelikula, hindi first and last ang Seduction,” sabi ni Richard.

"Wala pa bang official movie poster ito?"

While she awaits for that time to come, Gonzaga said she will focus her time and attention to her work this 2013.

Gonzaga said she is looking forward to doing two movies under Star Cinema this year.

“Kanina I just came from Star Cinema. We discussed two movies that I will be doing this year. One is a very big project and the next one is going back to my roots – romantic comedy with a new love team,” she said.

Gonzaga, however, refused to divulge further details about her upcoming projects.

No playdates yet but I think, and I hope the big project that she said she's going to do this year will be the one w Angel L, Bea A and Angelica P

“Lalo akong na-excite nung kinuwento sakin ‘yung istorya.

‘Yung kilig scenes dito sa ‘A Moment In Time’ ay siguradong ikasisiya talaga ng viewers.
