Just looked at the revised sched and all of the teams only have four morning games at most. Say what you will about Ateneo but they know how to respond to criticism, and quickly at that. I especially like how they think outside the box. They know the teams want more afternoon games for themselves so they hit on an elegant solution that pleases just about everyone: Tuesday PM games.

Looking forward to our match with our Katipunan bros this coming Wednesday. Let's get it on! #OneBigUPFight

Mej playing on the blind side ang Ateneo pala sa first 2 games nila. Mej mabigat to for them to go against UP and DLSU with minimal scouting reports. OA will be tested straight away.

Unlike DLSU for example who’s got a chance to see their first 2 opposing teams play before they get a turn.

Props to the organizers for being sensitive with the sched reactions made to the prior one released. Di ba ang sarap mag start ng season na no team has the upper hand?

So ang susunod na aabangan ngayon ay ang official lineup ng bawat teams. Here's what we have so far.

How about this for UST? Confirmed na ba?

Gusto ko lang i-post para documented and before the game begins that ang heavy favorite to win is Ateneo... they have 2 lethal wingers in Kat Tolentino and Faith Nisperos so it would be easier than last year kasi last year Middles yung main weapon nila so they need a good receive for that...this year it will be easier.

i still think that coach tai is the best trainer here in PH. kung meron mang butas sa program nya when he was in ADMU, recruitment yun na hindi nya dapat responsibility at the first place. ngayong he has talented rookies, nako humanda ang UAAP. yayanigin ng ADU ang season na toh, and season to come
Ang talagang butas ni Coach Tai is the number of injured players. Hello Tolentino, Gopico, Madayag, and Almonte!
Coach Tai's Extensive System/Training is best labeled as "High Risk and High Reward"

And part of those Risks are Injuries.

Although its True that Tolentino, Gopico, Madayag Kim G & Almonte all got injured under his training.

Lets not forget din that Teams excelled and Players elevated their game under his system.

    Just to name a few:
Ateneo's 2 Championship , Creamline, Alyssa Valdez, Galanza, Jia Morado, Madayag, Morente, Gumabao, De Leon, the current Lady falcons and others.

The Rewards clearly exceeds the Risks/Losses so its safe to say its a Very Good and Efficient System.

    kudos to arneow then.

just wished they had the foresight to get it right the first time so that we can be spared reading condescending 'elegant' posts like this one.

injuries come at the expense of high quality trainings.
players are being pushed to go beyong their limits, kaya di maiwasang magkaron ng injury ung iba...
let's also remember that during the last year of Coach Tai with ADMU, he had friction with the players and the management. he was asked not to report anymore (October 2017). then pinabalik siya, and unfortunately, hindi naging maganda ung resulta ng program kasi nag ka gap sa training...

High quality training? Naririnig mo ba sarili mo? If persons are getting injured because of training, san ang quality dun? Supposed to be there's injury prevention.

well when one is not used to high-caliber or quality training that makes you perform better than before, injuries may result because your body is not used to the demands of the new training regimen.

to put it simply, kung sanay ka sa 10 laps around the oval tapos bigla kang ni-require na mag 15 or 20 laps, or i-double yung weights or reps mo sa gym, or yung drill na 30 minutes mo lang ginagawa eh ginawang 1.5 hours, mabubugbog talaga yung katawan mo.

Pero may tinatawag na progression so that the body can adapt. No one can supposed to say run 15 to 20 laps to someone who could collapse on the 3rd lap.

Anyway, from most bystander's perspective, pag nahirapan, di na matayo o sumusuka na sa training, that's an effective training.

I have nothing against Coach Tai, he brings results. If that's his style, so be it.

Any athlete can be injured sa practice kahit hindi si coach Tai ang trainer.
    HAAHAHAHA

magkaiba ang coach/in-charge sa strength and conditioning and ang coach ng training mismo di ba? siguro pag di na-match yung intensity ng training sa kundisyon ng katawan ng athlete, mas prone to injury. (aside from the isolated injury-causing accidents). sa improvement ng ADMU/Adu under coach tai, magaling talaga siya magtrain.
