Basketball in Makati?

I recently moved to Manila and would like to find a court and some people to play with. Are there any public courts in Makati where I can just come and play for free or just shoot at the basket?
I saw a few courts but all of them I needed to rent and I dont really want to do that if I dont have anyone to play with. Can someone explain to me how things work around here because where I come from you just go to a court and find people to play with there.
