Excess gums! where to go??

Hi po mga docs ask ko lang kung saan pwede pumunta dentist ba or cosmetology meron po ako kasi parang excess gum parang nasa may lips ko sya (inborn).. so awkward everytime i smile kasi minsan lumalabas talaga *** excess gums.. can anyone help me? san po kaya pwede pumunta para ipacheck at ano pwede gawin..? mahal ba? :mecry:

    ^ Baka hindi gilagid yan. Ang gilagid malapit sa ipin. Kung nasa may labi mo mismo that could be a number of things. Pwede kang magpatingin sa isang ENT medical doctor para makita niya at masuri kung ano yan, kung nasa labi talaga. Pwede ka ring magpatingin sa isang dentist pero mainam kung Oral Surgeon or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon na dentist ang titingin.

    Ang cosmetologist ay isang beautician. Sila ang dalubhasa sa make-up at sa pagpipinta ng kuko. Hindi sila manggagamot pero marangal naman ang trabaho nila.

    ay hahha my bad.. sige po thanks po sa advice parang nasa likod po sya ng lip ko ang hirap iexplain pero if you know yung ALicia na mexican novela dati parang ganon pag nagssmile or nagsasalita ako (unting ganon yung lips) thanks po

    Hindi ko kilala ang Alicia na sinasabi mo pero excess gums ba tlaga at hindi simply "gummy smile" lang? Ang gummy smile is yung appearance ng smile mo na parang puro gilagid. Usually that is because maliit ang ipin at kung ano ano pa.

    Tama si smilewarrior. Magpaconsult ka muna sa specialist for you to understand ano tlaga problema mo. Kasi kung "gummy smile" ang issue, meron tinatawag na crown lengthening procedure that you can receive.

    This involves, reshaping the bone, repositioning the gums and installing new crowns to give your smile an appearance na "normal" and not too gummy. But just the same, is this really what you need or something else? Hindi ko rin kasi mapicture ang sinasabi mo.

    yung sakin kasi pag ngssmile ako or ngsasalita may lumalabas na gums from the back of upper lip..
