What if nagpalit ng puwesto si Greg and June Mar. I shudder at the thought...
10 points, 9reb, 1 blk. Per game. Pero sana ang i-work out na muna niya e yung depensa. Yung hindi nakikita sa stats. That way mas magiging effective siya sa ginebra. Si junmar na bahala sa stats. IMO
kahit keylan hindi nanalo ang team ni fajardo (Universiy of cebu) sa team ni slaugther (University of the Visayas) sa series. minamama lang ni slaugther yan si fajardo. but it was 3 years ago, both players malaki na ang development. kaya exciting ang rivalry nila sa pba although tingin ko mas may advantage si fajardo dahil magagaling ang teammates nya. pagdating sa coaches TABLA lang, parehonh BANO :rotflmao:
Baliktad!
Junmar is more agile and a better player but Slaughter is what GSM needs.
japeth and Mark can makeup for the offense.
Greg Slaughter slower than fellow giant June Mar Fajardo, says Yeng Guiao
Yeng Guiao became the first opposing coach to get a closer look at Barangay Ginebra San Miguel rookie Greg Slaughter on Wednesday, when his Elasto Painters took on the Gin Kings in a tuneup match.
The coach was impressed by Slaughters size, but said the 7-foot rookie still needed to improve to the PBA game.
He has a lot of work to do, but the size is an inherent advantage. You cannot coach height. You cannot make height out of nothing, said Guiao, who noted that Slaughter was slower than another young giant, June Mar Fajardo, who was Petrons top overall pick last year.
Andun naman yung materyal, but hes not like a Fajardo na mas mobile. I think he has to work on his mobility, Guiao told InterAKTV.
Slaughters presence in the shaded lane was enough to alter some shots of his smaller counterparts from Rain or Shine, but he had a difficult time on offense.
Slaughter admitted he has to improve on certain things.
There are some things which I need to work on. I need to jell more with the team, get the plays. But theres plenty of time we can work on our jelling, so Im optimistic about my future, said Slaughter.

^^ actually malaki ang naging improvement ni fajardo pagkatapos ng gilas. marami talaga syang natutunan dun at nagamit nya kagad last governor's cup. kung ganyan na sana kahusay si JF nung fiba, malamang may laban tayo against Iran.
Fajardo is better thAn Slaughter but parehas pa silang hilaw sa international competition.
His offense is his best weapon. Against Slaughter he will be challenged to maintain his offensive domination against a taller guy. If Fajardo carries his domination of the Governor's cup to the AFC the next step will be agaisnt the big imports of the Commissioner's Cup. Then we will see if may ibubuga siya against the world's best. It's a tall order for Fajardo but his meteoric improvement in the Governor's cup gives us hope that his combination of BBIQ, humility and effort will result in his continued improvement.
naipakita na ni Fajardo ang galing nya against much taller defender..agains import nang ROS and TNT...so nde na bago kay junmar ang makipagbakbakan against taller opponent
Best comparison I can think of the 2. Yao Ming and Shaq. Yao Ming was the tallest NBA Center with good numbers but not good enough compared to O'neal. Shaq was like a mad truck in the paint. While Yao at 7"5 also possess threat on the defensive end with soft touch from 8-10 ft. Still it was an interesting match up to watch. Parang Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell din yan. Both big but contrasting in talent. Going back to the Slaughter and Fajardo clash, Fajardo has the edge skills wise but can he dominate or put up 20 and 10 numbers against Ginebra's frontline? Imagine, Mamaril 6"5, Jay R Reyes 6"7, Japeth 6"9 and Slaughter 7"0 will take turns on guarding him. Parang front line na nga to ng mga teams sa FIBA Asia eh.

Totoo?? Or joke lang. Sorry. Mahina pick up ko bossing.
Totoo.
tama. Ito talaga pinakaimportante more than their rivalry.
