Date indicates November 26, 2011... when the prospect of P10 Billion settlement is still a big possibility, hence the bullying and maneuverings.

April 24 decision is a different story.

I am curious kung may bagong tweet si Kris, regarding yesterdays decision.
  • Make no mistake about it. This is a hugely popular Supreme Court decision. I have heard nothing but praise for this decision from ordinary people, regardless of what their political colors are.

Yep kudos to the Corona Court. Had the SC been under carpio, sereno or any other penot lackey, i'm pretty sure the outcome would've been very different.

8-6 in favor of '89 valuation is a very close call. Just two votes going the other direction would've seen the State (that's us taxpayers) cough up 10B just to satisfy one family's murderous greed :grrr:

Yep, erap had an exceptional official cabinet. Problem was, it was the midnight cabinet that called the shots

I was still in government during the Erap years. Nasa isang agency ako that coordinates with practically all government offices.

Boss! Could you have been press secretary/spokesperson during the time of mr estrada? You abhor abs, so i doubt if you're mr puno. Am i chatting with mr toledo or ex-activist jerry barican? :D

Don't worry ser. People know the real score. Ayaw kase pabuko si tabako, gumalaw tuloy galamay nya. Pero seriously, i tink hubris did erap in. He probably thought that his popularity was more than enough to withstand any dirt thrown his way. I think he miscalculated this one ;)

Hahaha. First Quarter Stormer Barican.

Not that I am espousing it ha. hehehe
  • @ manilaB: so you were part of the old Estrada establishment? nice! :)

i'm actually trying to join the OVP. i called the office several times, sabi ng mga taga-doon wala daw bakante. i wonder if there's a backdoor entry to join the family of the future Philippine President. :naughty:;)

Ahaha! i'm sure the younger ones are trying their best to relate to this exchange of the young 'once(s)'

To be honest, i'm no fan of erap (no offense boss:D). But when people i admired (several top academicians and technocrats) started flocking to him bec he was the 'chosen one,' esp by the masa, then no choice. Support na lang the new president. After all, maganda naman record nya at least sa san juan and as mentioned, he had a topnotch cabinet roster.

But i think he really messed up his best (or is it lone?) political capital -- his popularity, esp to the masses. Dami nya excesses! Let's not even get into the scandals that marred his short-lived presidency. Sayang! He had tremendous support and the masses truly loved and adored him. He could've done a magsaysay if he wanted to.

Oh well, that's all part of our history. If he does intend to run again (sa maynila daw bossing), sana natuto na sha. Hopefully, like enrile, ma-rehabilitate naman nya kahit papaano yung image nya. Kahit sa maynila, or even tondo district lang *okay*

He also attributes his victory to the APO.

I'm no fan of Erap myself.

Welcome to the club!

I'll be honest, landowners din kame. Pero nowhere near the scale of the cojuangcos. At best, tagpi-tagping farm LOTS lang yun (less than 1000sqm each). Karamihan naipamigay or nabenta na.

I'm just glad we have a CJ that had enough balls to go against the country's BIGGEST landlord family. Truly one for the history books! *okay**okay**okay*

    salamat sa tip, kaibigan. :)

Jojo is in a very good position right now. hindi na ako nagugulat kung bakit ganun na lang siya siraan ng Rappler at ng iba pang Yellow media outfits. halatang takot ang Dilaw kay Jojo and will do everything to bring him down.

hmmmm... Makati? kay Abby Binay? how about via City Hall? :)

Elenita.
