Geog isn't exactly a "looked upon" course in Diliman, to be honest. No insight though on the actual curriculum/way of teaching there. I only took up geog1
kung career options yung iniisip mo, pwede kang maging meteorologist, urban planner, GIS specialist, at kung anu-ano pa. pero syempre Geog is quite broad, and to be a licensed meteorologist or urban planner you must take more advanced units as well. masters' degree pa nga ata.

Aw, yeah. There again goes the downside of taking up a non-specialized bachelor's course.
You don't have to be so specialized with your undergraduate degree. When you're young, it's better to go for the general route (maraming nagshi-shift out from their respective courses kasi di naman pala nila gusto 'yung kinuha nila) and then specialize later on.

You're probably right. I'm actually taking Industrial Pharmacy right now (in UP Manila) but I realized I needed to shift out when I decided that easy money wasn't all I was up for. Now all I need is a... course to shift into whether specific or nonspecific.
pero as far as i know, they can be urban planners, they can work in PAGASA and Phivolcs, and tourism

Huwag kang matakot.

Coolio, but say, what course did you pursue?
Computer science
For payment reasons/job opportunities, I suppose?
Sorry if that sounds intrusive. I'd made my choice using the same criteria as basis, btw.
Haha. That was part of the consideration pero I liked it din naman.
There aren't too many geography programs dito sa atin.
