Pus formation (teeth). Dentists help!

Sa mga dentists out there sana matulungan nyo ako... Problem ko kasi, yung isang ngipin ko sumasakit pag pinipisil ko yung gums o kaya yung part na malapit sa butas ng ilong ko. Parang may namamaga sa loob. Na-root canal na ito dati kaya hindi na siya ganun kasakit pero sumasakit lang dahil nga siguro sa pressure sa gums ng swelling. Tapos pina-check ko sa dentist ko, so binutas nya para malaman kung ano tapos sabi niya nana daw yung namuo. sabi nya baka nanigas na raw sa loob yung nana tapos sabi niya baka daw granuloma or something kaya kung hindi madadaan sa antibiotics (pinainom niya ako ng antibiotics for a week), baka daw bunutin na! Tanong ko, ano kaya ang naging dahilan ng pamumuo ng nana sa loob? At meron pa kayang alternative kung saan hindi na kailangang bunutin yung ngipin ko? Ayokong mabunot to kasi sa harap to e, yung ngipin na katabi (inner part) ng pangil sa upper jaw...

    1. You'll need to have a peri-apical x-ray taken of the tooth. It will really help in determining what the problem is.

    2. Root canal therapy of your teeth may need to be repeated (meaning the rubber filling of the tooth's root canal should be removed and the cleaning/filing of the canal would be repeated).

    3. If doing root canal on the tooth again is not enough, endodontic surgery (apicoectomy) of the root/roots of the teeth should be done.

    4. While there are a lot of competent general practitioners who can treat you, it would be best if you have yourself treated by an Endodontist ( a dentist who specializes in treating problems related with a tooth's root canal).

    5. Antibiotics will help, but it won't really make the pus go away if the cause of the problem is not removed.

    6. Also, have all your teeth professionally cleaned by a dentist. The problem could lie in the tooth's gums and not the root canal (this is only a possibility).
