Well, this has got to be AIM, then UP-College of Business Administration (UP-CBA) then DLSU Graduate School of Business then Ateneo GSB. That is, if you were looking for prestige or brand name recognition. If you're asking for rigour, I can't answer that, obviously.

Here's how I would rank the best business schools in the Philippines based on academic prestige or brand name recognition:

    1. AIM
    2. UP Diliman

    gap
    3. DLSU

    gap
    4. Ateneo

    nothing follows

Ateneo is a great school. No question about that. But much of its strengths are derived from its strong undergrad education. Its law school is also decent, probably next to UP's Law, and its medical school is still a "new kid on the block" and thus untested. In short, its professional schools are not as good as its undergrad, though all are still considered highly respected programs.

If you're taking an MBA, any undergrad degree would do. Hell, in my class right now, I have 2 classmates who are English majors.

This is because before the actual classes, most graduate schools offer workshop/review classes to students who don't have any background on accounting/finance/stat/economics/calculus etc. or for those students who want to review those topics. That way, medyo may equal footing na mga tao before the actual classes start.*okay*

Anyway, on topic, best school, meaning isa lang , here in the Philippines would be:

    Asian Institute of Management.

I mean seriously, if one has the money, the time and the brains, taking the full-time 16-mo MBA degree is really worth it, as I have met/encountered several AIM graduates already. Likewise, I have friends who are studying there right now and they're really good and opportunities are really being opened up for them. :)

AIM would probably offer a better student experience than UPD would but a MBA degree from AIM wouldn't be any different from an UP MBA unless you want to work in other country within Asia. But if you will work in the Philippines, it does not really matter whether you carry an AIM MBA degree or an UP MBA degree.
  • From what I know, it's the Asian Institute of Management.

UP and Ateneo are also good.
  • Letran...may MOA with AIM. Grads composed of business tycoons.
  • from what i heard from my cousins who took MBAs ok daw ang UP Diliman at AIM na degrees. Pero advice nila parin sa akin kumuha ng MBA abroad kasi pag may MBA ka from let's say UCLA or NUS iba daw tlga ung difference to the point na maoovershadow na ng MBA mo ang undergrad degree m :D
  • Asian Institute of Management.

    Here's a source:

    http://www.eduniversal.com/business-school-ranking/country/philippines/169

It lists the top business schools in the country.

    AIM - internationally known
DLSU, ADMU, UP - nationally known
    UST - with regional influence
    USC - with local influence
  • Definitely, Asian Institute of Management.
