i've 3 cousins (mike, mac and byron) graduated from st.james...lahat nagbayad to get through high school... (with all due respect to the PEX alumnus) at nagpapabayad naman talaga.... tsk...
Mga students dun nung time ko dami gangster, ha ha, pero mga mababait naman. Sa observations ko, mga magaganda at gwapo nandun *ehem* he he, mayayaman din yung iba, pero hindi halata.
Sports? During intrams may mga compeition sila, naalala ko Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Swimming, Badminton, Chess at pati Patintero meron.
Faculties. Dun medyo sablay ngayon ang St. James sa palagay ko. Pero meron mga exceptional na teachers dun like Mr. Alquiza, Mr. Enriquez, Ms. Clemente (Math Department lahat)
HS Life. Noong panahon ko, sobrang strict nila. dapat medyas mo color white lang walang kahit anong print, tapos mga babae dapat maayos buhok(dapat nga ata naka pony tail pa eh.), bawal din ang cellphone may surprise checking pa sila (ewan ko kung ngayon pede na), dapat na ka tuck-in ang undershirt ng guys, tapos walang colored bra for girls. Pero sobrang saya naman pagdating sa mga extra-curricular activities. Mahahasa ang talento mo sa pagsayaw, pag-awit at pag-arte. May mga programs kami almost every month. (Sabayang Pagbigkas, Awit Interpretasyon, Linggo ng Wika, English Week, Science Week/Fair, Retreat, Recollection, CAT/Pasamasid, High School Night, etc.)
So far yun yung naging experience ko sa St. James. Hindi ko alng alam sa San Lorenzo, pero alam ko maganda din dun.

was a certified jamesian(a st.james stude), i attended my preschool, elementary and hs years at st.james qc, same with my 4 siblings..we all graduated there but is now st.james COLLEGE of qc..many or our neighbors went to the same school, others coming from diffrent schools and later transferred to ja-mes (as jamesians call it)..
i had a very un4gettable school life there in st.james..and am proud to be a jamesian, dahil during our time, maganda pamamalakad, kaya nga maraming nag-aaral dun from qc kahit malayo nakatira..sa mga activities, ok din..may mga cool na teachers, meron ding mga strict..marami din talagang magaganda at pogi..mayayaman, simple,...direk andoy ranay is one alumnus (or should i say alumna):rolleyes: na pinagmamalaki ng james (he's a director from abs-cbn), a theatrical actor/director, and a film actor (mostly, indie films, minsan extra-he appeared sa "Ang Tanging Ina", "Ang Tanging Ina niyong lahat", "Kordova"-(tama ba yun?) among others..Ricky Rivero, Marilyn Villamayor (from that's entertainment, related to nora aunor), mga anak daw ni cesar montano, apo ni bella flores..just a few of the students who went to james..many are now successful in their own fields..and their being a jamesian has contributed a lot to what they have become (including me, of course)..but that was almost 20years ago..a lot have changed..lumaki yung school, gumanda, kaya nga may tertiary level na..kaso nung nwala na si mr. jaime torres, medyo bumagsak na rin quality ng education (as i heard and observed).
kaya nga, i am only considering 3 schools for my kids: maria montessori(visayas ave), claret, and colegio de san lorenzo(where my nephew and niece are now studying)..
i no longer include st.james in my list, para kasing di na maganda pamamalakad at di na ganun karami pumapasok sa kanila..during our time, as in lahat ng bata ito samin, sa kanila pumapasok..saka, being an artist, di ko gusto uniform ng college nila (jologs)..sana bumalik yung dating ganda ng st.james..and if that happens, i will not have second thoughts of considering them for my kids education..
san lo is a gud skul they have branch in macabebe pampanga..nice facilities!!!!
