Hi, nagkaroon kasi ng scar sa may forehead ang baby ko. 2yrs old pa lang siya on May9. Hindi naman malalim na cut ang natamo niya. Mababaw lang pero enough para magkaroon ng guhit sa mukha niya. Parang ginuhitan ng red ballpen ang noo niya. Pwede ba sa kanya ang contractubex. 2 days pa lang ang scar niya.

    yeah, I'm planning to see her pedia come Monday. Gusto ko lang kasi munang magkaroon ng knowledge tungkol sa gamot na ito para maidiscuss ko sa pedia.

    Contractubex is for deeper scars, especially those caused by surgery, burns, acne, and other injuries that resulted in formation of keloids and hypertrophic scars.

    I'm assuming, based on your description, that the scar on your baby's forehead was a linear abrasion (aka gasgas). There is no contraindication to applying Contractubex on the scar, but I doubt that your baby will need it because baby's skin heals faster than an adult, so the scar won't be really noticeable in a few weeks time.

    yung pamangkin ko, nagkaroon din ng ganyan, kung ano ano ang ipinahid ng nanay niya, ayun mas lumala. i agree that you have to consult your kid's doctor first.

    Baby pa naman iyan. Medyo forgiving ang nature pag bata ang nasugatan. Yung anak ko before 2 years old sya noon, sinabuyan ng kumukulong sabaw ng maid namin. Ang ginamit naming therapy para sa scar ay silicone pad na nabili namin sa derma. Ewan kung meron dito sa Pinas. Ngayon as if di mo maiisip na nalapnos balat niya. Pantay na kulay niya.

    What? That's unacceptable and cruel! How could she? Buti naman OK na anak mo. Hope walang truma na idinulot sa anak mo. Mas mahirap kaysa scar yun.

    Sorry, p're. Hindi ko alam existing na username na to. Malamang isipin ng iba isa lang tayo:rotflmao:

    Ok na anak ko, thanks. Buti na lang hindi ako naglagay ng kung anu-ano sa scar. Nawawala na rin.
