Revo is underpowered. I hate the one we got out front which my dad made the mistake of buying for carting equipment around..think sure, maybe its a bit tough but hanggang dun lang. Ride sucks, handling sucks, and if one of its wheels falls into a canal, esp. kung front tyre, wala na.0

this is a good topic for those first time buyers of AUVs. bakit nga ba konti lang ang reply posts d2? :( anyway, nakapag drive na ko ng Adventure (2002 model) and masarap syang dalhin. all power and super sport. pero di pa ko nakakapag drive ng REVO or even crosswind XUV so i can't compare.
my brother is thinking on getting either of the 3 AUV's i mentioned above so any suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated. we are thinking of getting it within six months so mahaba yung time naming mag compare ng spex.
what do u think guys? pag REVO or ADVENTURE, GAS ang kukunin namin, pag Crosswind, syempre no choice kundi diesel.
tnx in advance to all,

AUV's are deathtraps. The crumple zone in the rear is non-existent so when a vehicle rams you from behind the person on the last row of seats would incur severe injuries or even die.
The ride's uncomfortable as well.
Noisy.
Ugly.
But if you really have to get one get the '02 Honda CR-V.
If you value your life so little get an AUV and may God have mercy on your soul.0 -
kami may adveture....so far okei naman siya....no problems yet...0

REVO
1.confortable suspension AUV
2.more acceleration than Adventure
3.good interior and exterior for an AUV vehicle
4.lift top back door
5.good airconditioning for an AUV vehicle
Adventure(1998 model)
1.more torque than REVO
2.bigger seats than REVO
3.unconfortable to drive than REVO
4.poor airconditioning
5.good shifting of gears than REVO
i have these 2 AUV's driving for years now,its been fun driving these 2 AUV's..but nothing is more confortable and safer than the SUV's around....0 -

As for the price ofthe CR-V I think it retails at 899T. What you buy is a safer car.
If you value your pocket over your lives then get an AUV. Total mura ang ospital o kabaong.0 -

pls. include other security features as well.
Paolo, what makes the CRV safer than Adventure or Revo? tnx.
It occupies more space giving you more space to survive vs the smaller AUV
The materials used aren't as "economized" as the AUV
Bigger engine to avoid collisions due to slow acceleration vs the slower AUV
More safety features such as the 4 Wheel ABS, Airbags, Generation Driver and Passenger Airbag(SRS), Brake/Shift Interlock Feature, Height Adjustable Safety Belts For all Outboard Positions, High Visibility Center Mounted Stoplamp, Rear Door Child Safety Locks, Remote Illuminated and Keyless Entry, Seat Belt Pretensioners On Front Outboard Seats SecurilockTM, Passive Anti-Theft System, Side Door Intrusion Beams and Driver's Side Keypad Entry if you forgot your key.
Also you're seated higher giving you a better and longer view of what's happening a few more meters away vs the lower AUV. This'll give you more time to decide on your next move if there's a potential accident ahead of you.
It can go places where AUV fear to thread
The new CR-V
S A F E T Y
Honda's concern for security extends from the welfare of CR-V passengers, other vehicles and pedestrians.
Active avoidance of hazards
Accident prevention is the first line of defense in Honda safety protection. We equip the CR-V with progressive technology to help you steer clear situations that might result in a mishap. For instance, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you maintain steering control in an emergency. Brilliant multi-reflector halogen headlights offer excellent illumination. In addition, the driver's raised seating position provides excellent visibility. You can concentrate on safety conscious driving, knowing that the CR-V is with you all the way.
Passive protection in need
Honda's second line of defense is fortified shielding. Honda takes a comprehensive approach to safety protection by subjecting vehicles to a battery of collision simulations in a Real World Crash Test facility. The exclusive Omni-Directional Impact-absorbing body helps minimize injury. The CR-V has an all-direction energy-absorbing body, combining impact-absorbing front and rear structures with a rigid cabin that serves as a crush-proof survival zone for those inside the vehicle. Steel body panels, steel door beams, and reinforced structural members contribute to a highly protective shell around the cabin area. Front seats are equipped with dual SRS airbags, and 3-point ELR seatbelts are also provided for front and rear, while the pretensioner is available for the front. The CR-V even helps protect those outside of the vehicle, with front bumper, hood, and wiper structures designed to reduce the risk of pedestrian head injury. Moreover, a low bumper beam and wide frame help lower the chance of "riding up" over a sedan in a collision. All these defensive systems are your assurance of Honda's total dedication to advanced safety.
Only reason the CR-V is now considered an AUV is to avoid the stupid vehicular tax imposed on vehicles that don't allow for 10 or more passengers. That's right folks they tax you more for a smaller car!
Here's a question thrown at you trox. Why do countries like the United States, Canada and European Union member-countries don't have AUV-like vehicles?0 -
A year before we had the same question. Which one was better. A Mitsubishi Adventure or Toyota Revo (Sports Runner).
Guess what:?: we ended up buying neither since we opted for the Isuzu Highlander XTRM. I think its better. It has a bigger mag wheels (great for off road driving) compared to the first two and is modeled after the Isuzu Trooper.
Check out the Isuzu Highlander Crosswind as well.0
