He has surrendered. It was brutal, pero hindi ito police brutality. It was an argument between neighbors na matagal nang may issues. There isn't a decent way to justify the policeman's actions, but you have to be blind to miss that this was a case of some ga g0 na nakahanap ng kapwa ga g0.

Of course the opposition is just frothing in the mouth to spin this for their #stopthekillings and other hashtags. The pnp really needs to purge the org of rotten members like this. Sayang ang efforts ng maraming mabubuti.

Assuming what? I'm just weirded out. Two people got smoked and majority of the post seems to be more inclined defending cops (or worried it will be used as a criticism against the govt).

sana ganito rin kaingay sa social media pag nanggugulo at may napapatay ang mga kriminal at terorista.

You assumed that I'm being defensive. Just being objective here and pointing out your fallacy. I hate that cop and want death penalty for him if that is an option.

Again, the guy is a criminal. It just so happens he is a policeman. We know there are bad eggs in the police. But this type of stuff can happen whether the person with the deadly weapon was a police or not.

I watched the video right up to the confrontation lang. Didn't have the stomach to watch the whole thing. It was horrifying to even think about. 

As usual, rights groups are exploting this to feed their narrative of police brutality.

Look, there are bad apples everywhere. More so in our country. I remember nung mga 2007 at sa Pinas pa ako nagtatrabaho, night shift ako nun at break time namin mga 11pm, bumaba kami sa ministop sa likod ng PBCom Tower at tumambay sa harap. Itong 2 pulis na nagroronda bumaba at gusto kaming ibagantsya. Yung kasama ko binigyan nya ng something-something at umalis na. 

What am I trying to say? That before Duterts came on the scene, the police were corrupt. They were incompetent and corrupt and ineffective. Kahit nung Hong Kong tourist bus event lang under kay Noynoy, super nakakahiya ang performance nila. 

When Duterts came on the scene, he somehow revamped the image of the police. From what I've heard, nag-improve kahit papaano ang imahe nila. But then came the rights group who scrutinize their every move and would uncritically lump the bad apples with the good ones. Haays.
