This is my favorite instrumental from 80's. I grew up listening to so much 60-70's punk and 80's metal bands because my dad didn't listen to anything except 80's reggae until 15 years ago. Honestly didn't appreciate metal until much later, I didn't understand what my dad meant by "they make guitar sing like opera" until I listen to all the guitar solos from 80's with the crazy synths. I know basic electric guitar but honestly I suck LMFAO not like my cousins (some of whom are professional musicians).Mike and Rudolf Schenker are the few musicians I ever want to meet in real life. LOL

The first time I remember listening to this song in a middle school dance. A friend of mine who I just saw online today and he said hi to me, played it in that dance (crazy we must've been 13-14, and he was already spinning records and making beats, he's still a dj today). It was a version of this song but ahead of his time he remixed it making it sound hiphop and dubstep (which back then obviously didn't exist lol). I think now if he still has a recording of it, it would be what we call "retro synthwave" (songs made today made to sound like 80's cyberpunk pop). The other person that always come to mind whenever I hear this song is my dad, because he was a huge Miami Vice fan. And in fact dresses like it still 30+ years later LMFAO.Funniest is I just noticed the lyrics..."you belong to the city, you belong to the night"...in American slang "you belong to the streets" means "you're a wh0re". This song essentially is saying that the woman referred to in the lyrics is a slvt. LMFAO PS nvm it's referring to a man lol

Hindi sya yan. Hindi ka ata marunong mag investigate eh. That video has had 22.6 million views and uploaded by The Beatles (Youtube channel name). Kung re-mastered yan ng pinoy na hindi kilala, mga 16 views lang dapat yan.
