    Pag kagaya ulit kagabi yung performce niya for the rest of the series, malaki chance niya. May lasting impression sa votes pag maganda perormance sa Finals, especially ngayon na after pa ng season yung awarding. Eh bakya ang performance ni Black nung semis.

    Best Player of the Conference will be named not season MVP & PBA will hold a special awards night probably in January to recognize Most Outstanding Rookie, Most Improved Player, Sportsmanship awardee etc ... this will not be the traditional Leo Awards but a special tribute

    Totally head-scratching move on the PBA's part. I don't even know if they know their own history, but way back from 1976 to 1979, all the major awards (MVP, ROY, Mythical First and Second Teams, etc) were handed out after the First Conference (the All Filipino). As such, regardless of the players' performance in the succeeding two import-laced conferences, they would still be adjudged that season's awardee. Yet, we never heard of Bogs, Freddie, Sonny and Atoy having an asterisk in their MVP award or Gil, Jimmy T., Jimmy M., and Arnie in their respective ROY awards. 

    It's not a game-changing and history-altering decision at all. And playing in the bubble, where the scenario is more challenging, makes the MVP award even more compelling to give, despite playing in one conference.

    So from hereon, whenever we look at the record books a few years from now, there'll be 2020 and there would be vacant spaces. It's like the tournament never happened....
