US government lied on COVID-19: the virus may originate in the US

March 11 coronavirus news

CDC director says some coronavirus-related deaths have been found posthumously

During the House Oversight Committee discussion on the novel coronavirus response, the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said some deaths from coronavirus have been discovered posthumously.

Rep. Harley Rouda asked CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield if it’s possible that some flu patients may have been misdiagnosed and actually had coronavirus.

"The standard practice is the first thing you do is test for influenza, so if they had influenza they would be positive," Redfield said.

Rouda then asked Redfield if they are doing posthumous testing.

Redfield said there has been "a surveillance system of deaths from pneumonia, that the CDC has; it’s not in every city, every state, every hospital.”

Rouda followed up and asked, “So we could have some people in the United States dying for what appears to be influenza when in fact it could be the coronavirus?”

The doctor replied that “some cases have actually been diagnosed that way in the United States today.”

That's a stretch to go from some Flu patients may have been misdiagnosed to your title, and I quote:

    look at the following data,
There's another virus that has infected at least 26 million Americans across the country and killed at least 14,000 people this season alone. It's not a new pandemic -- it's influenza.

The 2019-2020 flu season, which began September 29, is projected to be one of the worst in a decade, according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. At least 250,000 people have been hospitalized with complications from the flu, and that number is predicted to climb as flu activity swirls.

so far, at least 26 million people in the US have gotten the flu and at least 14,000 people have died from it, including at least 92 children. Flu activity has been widespread in nearly every region, with high levels of activity in 48 states and Puerto Rico.

    Flu is not Covid 19.

Flu does not have the mortality rate of Covid, nor are its symptoms an exact match. Anyone conflating the two is spreading disinformation.

even the CDC Chief could not deny that thoes american who died from flu may have actually been diagnosed.

I really hope America could have paid much more attention on the FLU control, and provided  testing for those people , but they did not .

And , do you know how much does a coronavirus test cost in America?

    it is $3,000!

The Director of CDC stated, and I quote:

"The standard practice is the first thing you do is test for influenza, so if they had influenza they would be positive," Redfield said.
They would be positive for Influeza, which is a virus, but not the same coronavirus as Covid 19.

The thrust of that article is simply that some deaths originally attributed to the Flu may have been caused by Covid 19.  It's clear by its Title:

CDC director says some coronavirus-related deaths have been found posthumously

It seems you have made a stretch in logic from that starting point to

US government lied on COVID-19: the virus may originate in the US

    It's your wholly unsupported claim.

Where is the evidence? Syllogistically, your argument looks like this:

    • US Government lied on source of Covid 19
    • Some Covid 19 related deaths may have been attributed to the Flu
    • Flu = Covid 19

But as we all know, the common Flu is not the same as Covid 19, therefore your argument does not stand.

Influenza “the flu” and COVID-19, the illness caused by the new coronavirus, are both infectious respiratory illnesses. Although the symptoms of COVID-19 and the flu can look similar, the two illnesses are caused by different viruses.

It has now been proven that COVID-19 did not originate in China but was brought to China from another country. Part of the proof of this assertion is that the genome varieties of the virus in Iran and Italy have been sequenced and declared to have no part of the variety that infected China and must, by definition, have originated elsewhere. It would seem the only possibility for origination is the US because only that country has the “tree trunk” of all the varieties. And it may therefore be true that the original source of the COVID-19 virus was the US military bio-warfare lab at Fort Detrick.

    My quote:
    www.globalresearch.ca/covid-19-further-evidence-virus-originated-us/5706078

Japanese and Taiwanese epidemiologists and pharmacologists have determined that the new coronavirus almost certainly originated in the US since that country is the only one known to have all five types – from which all others must have descended. Wuhan in China has only one of those types, rendering it in analogy as a kind of “branch” which cannot exist by itself but must have grown from a “tree”.

The Taiwanese physician noted that in August of 2019 the US had a flurry of lung pneumonias or similar, which the Americans blamed on ‘vaping’ from e-cigarettes, but which, according to the scientist, the symptoms and conditions could not be explained by e-cigarettes. He said he wrote to the US officials telling them he suspected those deaths were likely due to the coronavirus. He claims his warnings were ignored.

Immediately prior to that, the CDC totally shut down the US Military’s main bio-lab at Fort Detrick, Maryland, due to an absence of safeguards against pathogen leakages, issuing a complete “cease and desist” order to the military. It was immediately after this event that the ‘e-cigarette’ epidemic arose.

We also had the Japanese citizens infected in September of 2019, in Hawaii, people who had never been to China, these infections occurring on US soil long before the outbreak in Wuhan but only shortly after the locking down of Fort Detrick.

Then, on Chinese social media, another article appeared, aware of the above but presenting further details. It stated in part that five “foreign” athletes or other personnel visiting Wuhan for the World Military Games (October 18-27, 2019) were hospitalised in Wuhan for an undetermined infection.

The article explains more clearly that the Wuhan version of the virus could have come only from the US because it is what they call a “branch” which could not have been created first because it would have no ‘seed’. It would have to have been a new variety spun off the original ‘trunk’, and that trunk exists only in the US.

That's your claim, where is the evidence?

Lot's of claims in this thread without any real proof. Surely you can provide a peer reviewed study to back up your claim?

    look at the following data,
There's another virus that has infected at least 26 million Americans across the country and killed at least 14,000 people this season alone.

Anyone conflating the two is spreading disinformation.

so you mean the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is spreading disinformation?
    No, you are spreading disinformation.

US troll works hard here hahaha :o:o:o
If only you worked so hard to provide proof for your claim rather than show off your poor reading comprehension.  ;)

It would have to have been a new variety spun off the original ‘trunk’, and that trunk exists only in the US.

    globalresearch.ca? That explains your bias.

    From RationalWiki:

Globalresearch is an "anti-Western" website that can't distinguish between serious analysis and discreditable junk — and so publishes both. It's basically the moonbat equivalent to Infowars or WND.

While some of GlobalResearch's articles discuss legitimate humanitarian concerns, its view of scienceeconomics, and geopolitics is conspiracist — if something goes wrong, the Jews West didit! The site has long been a crank magnet: If you disagree with "Western" sources on 9/11, or HAARP, or vaccines, or H1N1, or climate change, or anything published by the "mainstream" media, then GlobalResearch is guaranteed to have a page you will love.

CDC director: Some COVID-19 deaths misdiagnosed as influenza in the U.S.

Robert Redfield, the director for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) openly admitted on Wednesday that some COVID-19 deaths have been misdiagnosed as influenza in the U.S.

Redfield made the comments at hearing at U.S. House of Representatives on COVID-19 outbreak, in response to questions over the current severe shortage of detection agents for the novel coronavirus in the U.S.

There are more than 1,200 cases of the novel coronavirus in the U.S., according to state and local health agencies and the CDC.

U.S. officials say White House told health agency to classify coronavirus deliberations

The White House has ordered federal health officials to treat top-level coronavirus meetings as classified, an unusual step that has restricted information and hampered the U.S. government's response to the contagion,

The officials said that dozens of classified discussions about such topics as the scope of infections, quarantines and travel restrictions have been held since mid-January in a high-security meeting room at the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), a key player in the fight against the coronavirus.

Staffers without security clearances, including government experts, were excluded from the inter-agency meetings, which included video conference calls, the sources said.

"We had some very critical people who did not have security clearances who could not go," one official said. "These should not be classified meetings. It was unnecessary."
