Looking for Sales & Accounts Analysts and Business Analysts/Excel Experts | Home-based Job

We are a small e-commerce business in the home decor/interior designing industry that is located in Los Angeles, California and we are looking for Filipinos who are interested in joining our team to help us grow our business.

The positions below are both full-time home-based positions.

*Published salaries are for starting only. Multiple salary increases within a year are possible in order to match the employee's skill level.

Sales & Accounts Analyst

Salary Range: $400 to $1000* per month. 

Holidays: Paid US Public Holidays

Time-off work: 11 accrued personal days off per year.

Growth: For those that can show evidence that they are truly dedicated to helping us grow, further compensation in the form of bonuses and salary growth will be provided.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Email handling. Your ability in composing and formatting emails will be tested.
  2. Phone handling (less than ten calls a day on average)
  3. Managing sales channels and orders

Potential other responsibilities:

  1. Social media marketing
  2. Following up with vendors and distributors
  3. Managing projects with contractors
  4. Tracking online feedback
  5. Watching competitors

Requirements:

  1. Excellent written and spoken English skills
  2. Stable, high-speed internet connection
  3. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
  4. A workplace where power outages are not frequent
  5. Willingness to work with us for a long term. We are not at all interested in someone looking to try out or thinking of staying just for a few months as a lot of effort is put into training and setting up.
  6. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  7. Must have no other job obligations.
  8. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator is a plus. Include the phrase “I am a tiger” in your cover letter as a proof that you have read the whole job description.

Business Analyst/Excel Expert

Salary Range: $500 to $1,300* per month. 

Holidays: Paid US Public Holidays

Time-off work: 11 accrued personal days off per year.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Pacific Time

WARNING: If you just "think" you know Excel well, you probably are not aware of how in-depth Excel can be - which many times includes programming and highly complex formulas. This position is reserved for candidates who actually have utilized Excel for multiple years rigorously and know the true depths of how complicated Excel can be. Do NOT apply for this position. If you think you "know" Excel well because you have used formulas such as "SUM" or "IF" or know about "pivot tables" - those are less than 5% of what we require and is NOT sufficient. For candidates that "know" how complex Excel can be, please proceed.

Requirements:

  1. We require someone with high levels of deduction ability, visualization and competency
  2. Excellent written and spoken English skills
  3. Stable, high-speed internet connection
  4. A workplace where power outages are not frequent
  5. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel. This will be tested.
  6. Willingness to work with us for a long term. We are not at all interested in someone looking to try out or thinking of staying just for a few months as a lot of effort is put into training and setting up.
  7. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  8. Must have no other job obligations
  9. International travel to China factories may be necessary.
  10. Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator is a plus. Include the phrase “I am a tiger” in your cover letter as a proof that you have read the whole job description.

Responsibilities:

  1. Full product definition
  2. Supply chain and vendor support
  3. Pricing analysis
  4. Competitor research
  5. Purchase orders
  6. Bookkeeping (sales tax, quarterly reports)
  7. Inventory analysis (reorder and out-of-stock analysis)
  8. Advertising

Others:
