I think it is important to have the right balance.

Engage mo iyong anak mo sa mga hobbies na pwede siyang makapag interact, not only at school but also in the entire community like barangay clean-ups, brigada eskwela, medical missions, liga sa barangay, etc.

Homeschooling actually draw a lot more resources that perceived and does not yield better results than the conventional.

I'm not trained as a teacher so I'd rather let professionals teach my children. Ayokong i-DIY and edukasyon ng mga bata.

LOL. You are so clueless in life. There is a guide to homeschooling. It can be found if you look hard enough.

    LOL. OMG.

Yes, it's easy to download guides. Yes, easy to enroll in homeschool programs as well. But you are so clueless about the point you know nothing about life. OMG.

First, a parent, most likely not a professional teacher, teach the child full time and forego economic gains from employment or business venture he/she could have engaged in. May nakapatong na opportunity cost sa homeschooling. OMG. Di mo alam ano? Clueless ka kasi sa buhay.

Second, all educational resources (e.g. books, audio-visual aids) must be procured by you to be at par with conventional education system. Schools have libraries with books used by multiple students. Doon pa lang, may efficiency benefit na. OMG. Di mo yun na-realize? Clueless ka kasi sa buhay.

Third, as a parent, I also considered homeschooling as option aside from choosing among Traditional, Montessori, and Progressive. Pati Waldorf tinignan namin. Homeschooling, however, presented a lot of disadvantages. It's not worth the cost.

So you see. Education is not an experiment. Education is not as simple as downloading guides. Your statement revealed that it's you who is clueless about life.
