I have been with Citi for 3 years now when I first got my card together with Metrobank. Have 4 cards with them with shared limit of 95k & credit utilization of 30%-80% on average. Availed Click4Cash 3 times. Applied for credit increase 3 times already and all declined. I have other cards Metrobank 468k (2015), HSBC 288k (2018), Robinsons 80k (2018), BDO 80K (2019), BPI 50K (2019), PNB 200k (2018) limits. I very much like to stick with Citi coz of their awesome app and bills payment facilities but im inclined to cut off all cards if I dont get credit increase this year. Any thoughts why they seem to be so conservative?
Your individual and total credit utilization ratio on one of and across all your Citi cards is too high and your credit score is taking a hit from that high credit utilization ratio and also from having too many loan applications (availment of Click4Cash 3 times.) Try bringing it down to around 10% of your individual and total credit limit across all your Citi cards for the next 6 months (or 1 year) and spreading all your purchases on your non-Citi cards (taking also into account the credit utilization ratio of your non-Citi cards) and see if you would get an increase in credit limit.

You also availed Click4Cash 3 times already and no credit limit increase ever? This just goes to show that availing Click4Cash (also formerly known as Call4Cash and now, SpeedCash) does not guarantee a credit limit increase like most people here seem to think. While it is the bank's discretion to grant credit limit increase, it is still one's credit score that plays a major factor in the decision of granting credit limit increase (and/or approval of another credit application be it credit card, loan, mortgage, etc..)

Ever wonder why your starting credit limits on your most recent credit card applications (RBank, BDO and BPI) are way lower than your reference card (Metrobank)? 2 words k- Credit Score.

Just curious, why get 4 cards from Citi though knowing they will just share the limit? For collection purposes?

How much were the CLs on your reference cards, Citi and BPI, at the time of your application?

In my case, I applied for a PNB card online (March 1, 2019) using my highest and oldest reference card, Citi. I submitted the most recent eSOA of my Citi card with credit limit of XXX,XXX at the time of application. However, during the application process (March 12, 2019,) my Citi card's CL was auto increased to YYY,YYY. PNB approved my application (March 25, 2019) and granted me the same CL, YYY,YYY, as that of my Citi card's CL. Can that just be merely a coincidence? No, it was my credit score at that point in time that did the work.

So, I beg to disagree that PNB grants low initial credit limits among local banks/card issuers.

In the case of my RBank CC application, I opened 2 deposit accounts (TT,TTT and PP,PPP) at my BOA when I applied (February 2018). I submitted the recent eSOAs of my 2 reference cards, UB was the highest at that time with VV,VVV and Citi was the oldest and the second highest CL, UU,UUU. RBank granted me an initial credit limit of UU,UUU same as that of my Citi card's CL at that time. I will agree that RBank is a conservative bank in terms of giving initial credit limit since I don't think that RBank even pulled my credit history in their evaluation of my application at that time but it is not that "stingy" as many here would like to think so. Of course, the deposit accounts I opened helped in my case, as evidenced also in the case of other PExers who tried the same technique in their RBank credit card applications.

Also worth mentioning, I had a pending application at that time with HSBC. I applied first week of January 2018 and I was approved also in February 2018  (Member Since is 02/18 on the card) but I didn't know that I was approved (and I was making follow up calls on the status of my application almost every week and they kept saying over the hotline that it was still in process) until first week of March 2018. HSBC granted me my first 6 digit initial starting CL, WWW,WWW. I think it was my credit score at that time that did the work too.

    OT:

    To be continued...

    P.S.

I have an important errand to run. I will be back later. ;)

    Citi 150k+
    BPI 50k+

As for me, maghihintay lang ako kasi ang dami ko ng na-cut na cards recently due to non-waiver of AF. Kawawa si Mother Nature.

Guys, I need your advice. I applied for BT thru EWB last Wednesday, May 15, 2019 para sa due ko sa Citi today, May 20, 2019. However, until now di pa nagrereflect although nagdeduct na sa CL ko. Now, may I know where can I pay in cash (payment channels) na magpost agad payment? Thanks
