Should I go for sole proprietorship or partnership?

Hi, everyone!

I'm planning to start a burger shop in Ontario. I have researched the market opportunities for a burger shop here and discussed the same with some of my friends.

The planned budget is meeting what I have with me. So initially I thought about starting a sole proprietorship in Ontario for my business. But my friend is interested in making an investment. Should I opt for a partnership form of business? Help me out!
