    Sa Technician. Bobo kasi nung nagpagawa. You should only go to a repair shop to have your phone fixed if and only if you've already exhausted all other troubleshooting methods you can find on the internet. Pag di kinaya sa DIY, saka ka lang pumunta sa eksperto.

    ^ Ang mga repairmen sa Greenhills or other stalls, wala naman ata silang hourly rate. You bargain with them on how much you're willing to pay for their service to get your phone fixed. Depende na lamg sa sira or kung may papalitang component.

    You pay technician for their skills and experience. The moment he sees a broken phone, he knows exactly what needs to be done.  

    But yeah, dapat may batas ukol dito or mismong yung business owner ay may ganitong policy. Na you pay the minimum hours (say 1 hour minimum) plus component na papalitan. Yung part/component, usually may mark up yan na mga 3-4x ng actual cost :lol: 

    Ganun din dito sa amin, pag tumawag ka ng contractor, may minimum hours sila na naka set. Say they set a cost of $60 per hour, with 1 hour minimum, you have to pay them $60 kesehodang 1 segundo nilang naayos ang problema. Now kung 4 hours nila ginawa tapos may pinalitan silang parts na worth $100, that's (60x4) + 100, total price to pay is $340 for the entire service.

    But this guy works at a booth inside the mall. The customer walked up to him to get his iPhone fixed. It’s not like the technician drove to his house to check out the iPhone.  If all he did was turn off the phone and turn it back on, then I don’t think he should have charged the customer at all.

    There is a place right by where I live that repairs Apple products. If I went to them with the same problem, they wouldn’t have charged me.  Because they value customer service.  They know if something does go wrong with my iPhone, I would go back to them.

    Mahal kasi rent sa tiangge. P20+T per month for a tiny space.

    If you've already paid for the fix but  SAME problem recurred, then its their responsibility to fix it again for free (i.e. under service warranty). 

    SO case in point dun sa technician, we don't know if resetting the phone was the real solution or just patch up. Pag bumalik yung problema, dapat bumalik siya sa technician at ipaayos ng libre pero depende ito sa service warranty policy, kasi may window lang yan, i.e. 7 days, 30 days etc...

    may matanda raw na nagpaayos ng radyong de baterya. pinaiwan sa tech, balikan na lang daw. tapos nakita ng tech baliktad lang pala ang battery.

    pag ganito dapat pa bang singilin yung matanda?

    the answer is this: sa stall, you need to pay him dahil yun lang ang livelihood nya and you occupied his time.

    sa businesses or stores na sa kanila nangaling yung item, they shouldn't charge anymore as it is basic customer service.

    Of course. Ang assessment kasi is part of the fix, plus binayaran mo ang expertise nila no matter how short the session was.

    Parang pacheck-up lang iyan sa doctor, 3 mins ka lang kinausap, 500 pesos na.

    Sabi nga nila, it is expensive to be a fool.

    Pero dapat ipinaalam niya sa kliente niya na ang kanyang rate ay nagsisimula ng Php 300.00
    Ganyan kasi ginagawa ko, may base rate ako for my services.
    Kung ayaw, edi wag.

    Sa mga ganyang klase ng kliente naman, respetuhin naman sana ang mga technician. Masyado minamaliit.

    Hindi lang sa technician nangyayari yan eh. Kaya mas gusto ng ating mga propesyonal na manggagawa na sa abroad nalang magtrabaho kasi doon, maganda ang pasahod/bigayan. Naaaayon sa skills.

    ang emphasis ng customer ang mahal daw ng singil e ang dali lang naman daw ng ginawa ng tech. gago pala siya e bat hindi siya mismo ang gumawa wala pang bayad.

    analogy:
    pasyente nagpabunot ng ngipin

    pasyente:  doc ang mahal naman ng singil niyo e sandali niyo lang binunot ang ngipin ko.
    dentista: sige next time babagalan ko

    Ala yan sa akin...ako sa washing machine repair shop...sabi sa akin.."Sir kapag pinuntahan ho namina ang lugar ninyo may charge na 150 pesos bago ayusin..pumayag ako..Nagulat nga ako ng biglang may kumatok sa pintuan ko..ater few days "Sino ka?" tanong ko.."At paano ka nakapanhik ditto?"sagot saken.. na may ginawa siya duon sa 12th floor at dumaan na siya sa akin dahil me appointment daw ako na magpapagawa ng washing machine naka iskedyul..Pinapasok ko naman at matapos tignan..sinabi sa akin na "Sir kailangan ho sa opis namin dalhin yan dahil malaking trabaho..sabi ko okey..Aba sinisingil ako ng 150 pesos..dahil daw sa pag-assess ng sira? ganong wala naming binuksan para alamin?..Binirahan ko nga "Yun ba ang 150 pesos? para sabihing sa opis gagawin? sinabihan ko umalis ka na bago ko sabihan INTRUDER  ka sa condo ko..Pusang Ina nya!
