Everything is MORE awesome in The LEGO Movie 2!

Been there, done that. The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part fell short in coming up with something new to hook its audience. However, the many pop culture references and crazy antics still make it an enjoyable watch, especially for younger audiences and those young at heart.
One simply cannot deny the fact that the movie will exact countless of laughs. However, this is not enough to quench people’s demand for more substance in the storyline of such a big franchise. Pratt, Banks, Haddish, and Arnett tried to make up for the rather wimpy plot of the film with their acting. But one knows that even the greatest acting performance cannot salvage a badly-written script.
For all its worth, The LEGO Movie 2 conveyed a pretty powerful, and rather important, message. It was successful in telling the audience how important patience and kindness among ourselves is. Not only is this messaging relevant, it is also a much-needed call in these trying times that we are all currently living in.
The outlook doesn’t seem to be good for The LEGO Movie 2. If you plan on watching it, however, it is best to appreciate the movie for all the positivity and lessons in life it wanted to impart. After all, we all gotta try looking at the brighter things in life more often.
#TheLEGOMovie2 is now showing today in cinemas nationwide.
