if strictly ncr, i think south would generally be makati to muntinlupa; north would be qc/camanava; east is pasig/marikina; west pasay/manila, and mandaluyong/san juan as 'central?' lol

in terms of economy, lamang ang south.  nandun ang main business districts ng ayala with makati and bgc. tas complemented by the ones in alabang (filinvest/madrigal).  also, mas malapit airport dun.  esp if manatili ito sa southern part (sangley).  they also have skyway/slex and cavitex as better access to the business districts compared to edsa and c5 for the morth and eastern parts.

mas chill din sa south.  sa north ok lang though mejo may pagka-feeling superior mga ibang tao dun esp sa diliman/katipunan sides lol

south may have better expansion potentials with possible reclamation projects in both laguna lake and manila bay, while the north can unlock some potential of its warehouses in camanava and other parts of qc, siimilar to what is happening in pasig.  Especially with the ongoing  connector roads and mrt7, and proposed c6 and mindanao ave extension.  biggest catalyst would be the transfer of the airport to bulacan

east, especially marikina, will remain genteel and still very livable lol
