Hi guys! Has anyone here experienced/tried booking at The Great BDO Travel Sale?

Bukod sa 3-months 0% interest + 2months pay later. Mas mura ba talaga airfare compared sa mismong website ng mga participating airlines? Thanks!

I was able to avail of it sa second run ng sale last year. I had to purchase a connecting return flight via AirAsia for Manila to Cebu since ang na-book ko lang na return trip sa international travel ko ay pabalik ng Manila. Went to the sale on a Friday and asked kung magkano aabutin. Hindi muna ako nag purchase. Went home and checked the price online, exactly the same amount.

So I came back Sunday, requested for a temporary credit limit increase sa credit cards booth nila. Tapos nagpunta ako sa AirAsia to purchase my tickets. The main factor, I could avail of a 3-month installment kung dun ko ipu-purchase yung flight versus if I purchase it online.

Given na meron na akong sure na need to book for a flight with specific travel dates na rin, nagustuhan ko kasi may installment option. I don't know, though, dun sa ibang airlines since hindi ko afford. Pero yung PAL (at least for domestic flights) which I also checked out, medyo same same lang din naman.

Thanks for the info @lanestolker, almost same rates lang din pala :| . So basically the main pros are:
    1. You can avail an installment for 3-months 0% interest
    2. Pay later program (2-months after purchase)
    3. Temporary credit limit increase?! Nice pwede pala ito. Hehe

Sana may option manalang na 6months or 12months 0% interest, I am planning to buy RT ticket for my November 2019 trip to Canada.

Yes, meron din atang pay later. Yung sa temporary CL increase, yes pwede rin, at least for last year. Good for the duration of the travel sale lang din. Tapos tatanungin ka ideally how much sana. Effective din siya agad kasi nga gusto nila mag-book ka na right there. Not sure if may longer terms for the installment, baka may interest na. Try to check it out nalang din.
