How many accounts do you have?
Simulan ko.
I have three accounts on different banks. I follow the saying na "Don't put your eggs in one basket".
Savings accounts:
Metrobank
BPI Family
RCBC Savings
How about you?

BDO always find ways to go offline when you need your money the most. BPI naman makes the best offline happen, so much so that it will sometimes last for days.
Not often but Security Bank does better offline banking. I don't have Metrobank, so can't comment.
BDO - 1 deposit account (savings), 3 investments
Landbank - 1 deposit account (savings)
Metrobank - 1 deposit account (savings)
Keep the discussion healthy.
BDO - 2 Kabayan Accounts (different branches)
Metrobank
BPI Family
Unionbank
Landbank
Bpi - 3 accounts (passbook, express teller savings and dating payroll account na automatically naconvert daw to express teller savings)
Bdo - 1 passbook
Soon to open an account with PNB and a checking account with BDO.
I was considering security bank pero medyo bitter ako sakanya lageng declined for cc lol.
pbcom savings
sterling bank solo savings
RCBC Savings - 2 Passbook Savings and 1 Checking
Eastwest - 1 ATM Savings
Security Bank - 1 ATM Savings and 1 Investment.
Recently closed/dormant: RCBC, BPI, BPI Family.
Future Plans: Close Security Bank savings account. Might open a provincial based account in BPI Family Savings OR One Network Bank (malapit sa tinitirahan ko sa province) but this is not definite pa. Might want to add TD kahit maliit lang sa Eastwest before this year ends.
2. BPI - SA : not using it but keeping it open as they are the easiest to transact with when I need to send funds overseas (rare but it happens)
3. BPI Family - TD, SA, CA, SDB : my BFB branch treats me really well.
4. SECB - SA : pang everyday transactional account dahil sa free ATM withdrawal.
? PSBank - Prepaid : sabi sa akin 'For Life' daw ito, kahit di ko lagyan ng pera at walang transaction, di nagsasara.
PNB-SA
BPI-SA
EW-SA
LANDBANK-GSIS AND PAYROLL
VETERANS BANK-SA
ONE NETWORK BANK- 2 SA
2. BPI - 1 SA for UITF, linked to BPI Direct Save-up
3. BPI Direct - 1 Save-up account for emergency fund with bonus insurance
4. CBC - 1 Passbook account for bond interest crediting (will close after bond maturity date), 1 ATM for UITF
5. RCBC - 1 SA supposedly for condo assoc dues but planning to close since they charge interregion deposit fee now
Want to try PNB because their branch is the closest one to our house in the province
Tally so far
BPI/BFB/Direct : 21
BDO/ONB - 16
Landbank and RCBC - 4 each
Security and Eastwest - 3 each
CBC - 2
PNB, Sterling, PBCom, Unionbank - 1 each
Got a TD placement in Eastwest and SLAMCI.
SB account has been closed.
RCBC Savings will be discontinued too since I moved my checking account to EW Bank and their merging with RCBC (more fees for inter-regional transactions kasi provincial ang account ko).
Metrobank- 1 ATM savings
Eastwest- 1 ATM Savings
Maybank - iSave account with ATM
BPI - 1 SA, 1 CC
CIMB - 1 debit SA, 1 SA (2% p.a. interest, parang TD)
BPI - 3 ATM savings, 1 Passbook savings, 3 UITF (investments), 3 credit cards
BPI Family - 1 checking account
BDO - 1 ATM savings account, 2 UITF (investments), 2 credit cards
Metrobank - 1 ATM savings account
Landbank - 1 savings account, 1 RTB
HSBC - 1 credit card
BPI Family - 1 CC
Security Bank - 1 Passbook with ATM, 1 CC
Chinabank Savings - 1 Passbook savings
Metrobank - 1 ATM savings/payroll
EastWest Bank - 1 CC
Addtl supplementary cards from my hubby:
Metrobank
HSBC
Planning to close Security Bank and BPI bec. I need my money to be fluid due to family reasons. Mataas kasi maintaining balance nila. 5k for SB and 3k for BPI.
I am looking to open a basic account with EastWest kaso ang higpit nila sa IDs. Kuha na lang muna ako passport and TIN IDs this year.
I really like Chinabank Savings dahil 500 lang ang maintaining balance nya. Also, dito ako nagttransfer ng pera after ko magbayad ng bills etc.
For credit cards, I will close SB, BPI, BFB. Retain ko nlng si EastWest kasi I like their cash loans. (Sorry 2018 ako naissuehan ng mga credit cards ko and it's been a whole new experience for me.)
I'm still deciding if I should open a BDO ATM savings.
BDO for remittances from abroad
FICCO credit union, i'm splitting my savings here from BPI.
