I like malls in the Philippines, very vibrant, you can do almost anything you want under that one roof. But malls here in the US are becoming like warehouse, very dull.

malls whether buildings or parks are a sign of urban development. it is a place for social interaction. if the mall is only design to be a commercial hub, it will fail and people will shun it.

seatless malls are almost empty because people find it uninviting.

malls with seats attract people and will buy items to stay inside the premises.

agreed with @kent...one of the things the Philippines edge over the US....Greenbelt, Virra Mall, SM City, Glorietta, Megamall, Robinsons Place dwarf US Malls, not only in size but overall experience as well, shopping, dining, family bonding, etc. Except for State malls, common malls are boring.

Sometimes you'd end up buying unecessary things you see in the mall. It's like a money trap. LOL

theyre waiting for their wives or gf in the stores.

but men are gullible shoppers too, only different merchandise, like those in Bass Pro shops, or mga athletic attire (Nike, Puma, Addidas)...

actually, a guys take 2 days to shop. the 1st day, they will stake out the store, item and the sales lady. it is on the second, they will buy it.
