Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber are part of Vice Ganda's Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry - and we are so proud of them!
From "Pinoy Big Brother," to starring in the films "Loving In Tandem," and "DOTGA: Da One That Ghost Away," not to mention their advertisements, magazine covers, TV guestings, and more -- these two have been one of the most humble pairs we've seen.
So at the sidelines of the ABS-CBN trade launch event yesterday, August 2, we couldn't help but catch up with the two rising stars and asked them how they're feeling now that they are part of "Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince, and The Perya".
The every bubbly Maymay quickly answered, "Sobrang nakakataba ng puso, Miss Vice Ganda, maraming salamat po."
She then furthered that she has seen a lot of Vice Ganda MMFF movies ever since she was younger and it feels surreal for her to be working with the actor-comedian.
'Fantastica,' sinimulan na ang pagpapasaya!
Meanwhile Edward teased us with something exciting that we can expect from MayWard!
First, he praised Vice Ganda for his skills as a comedian. "This will be one of the biggest challenges for us as well. Kasi sa movie or sa teleserye or kahit na anong shows, may lines 'di ba. Pero ang importante din sa mga comedy movies ay ang spontaneity, and for me there's no one better in this industry at being spontaneous than Miss Vice Ganda. So baka mahihirapan ako dun sa lines (laughs)."
He then shared, "Basta ano, may malaking something na first time namin ni May."
The two then related that they were extremely challenged with their roles, especially Edward who struggled "mentally, physically, lahat".
Oh, my! We're so excited to see them on the big screen again!
Vice, may kissing scene with Dingdong at Richard sa 'Fantastica'?!
As per previous reports, "Fantastica" will also star Bela Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, Dingdong Dantes, and more.
Finally nakapag-shooting na last Tuesday for ‘Fantastika, The Princesses, The Prince and The Perya’ si Richard Gutierrez.
Kilig King Ronnie Alonte is one of the many young stars who’ve joined the powerhouse cast of Vice Ganda’s “Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince, The Perya,” and he gave starcinema.com.ph an exclusive update on his role in the movie!
We got to talk to the Hashtags member at the Star Magic All-Star Basketball Game yesterday, August 19, and he shared that he will be playing one of Vice’s brothers.
“Sa tatlong kapatid ni Vice, parang ako ‘yung bad boy, maangas na mayabang, pero may kabutihang loob din,” he said.
When asked about his “Fantastica” story arc with Loisa Andalio, Ronnie said he wants to keep it secret at first.
Kasi ‘pag kinuwento ko ‘yung story namin, alam na agad nila!” he said.
Ronnie also talked about his upcoming role in “The General’s Daughter,” which stars Angel Locsin, Maricel Soriano, Eula Valdez, and Paulo Avelino, among others.
“Parang sundalo sila, and ako gusto ko nga din ma-try ‘yung role na sundalo,” he said. “Excited lang ako na makasama sila.”

Kapamilya celebrity Ryan Bang (right) apologizes to Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes when a shooting day for their movie was packed up because of Ryan's failure to show up.
Maria, Richard Yap, at Robin Padilla.
“Sorry, sorry talaga kasi last day namin, last episode [sa teleserye], kaya Kuya Dingdong, I love you so much, like, so much…” pahayag ng Korean actor-host.
Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin have nothing but praise for their "Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince, and The Perya" co-star Vice Ganda. The love team has started filming for the upcoming comedy, and told members of the press after the "Playhouse" Grand Media Play Day last night, September 12, that they have seen a new side to the Unkabogable Comedian on-set.
Donny enthused, "Si Vice, everyone can easily talk to and learn from. And sobrang part siya talaga ng movie niya. Hindi lang as an actor. He's [involved] with everything, even the script, 'yung set.
He continued, "And he's very smart. A lot of people maybe only see Vice on TV but behind the camera, I just look up [to him.]"
"Supportive siya," Kisses agreed.
The pair begged off giving any film spoilers, but Donny did drop quite a significant hint as to what we should expect when "Fantastica" premieres as Star Cinema's official entry to the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival this Christmas.
He said, "All I can tell you guys is it's very funny. Masaya, masaya."
Kisses and Donny's first film together "Walwal" was released earlier this year. Kisses also appeared in the romantic-comedy topbilled by her fellow ex-"Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7" teen housemates Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber "Loving in Tandem" last year.
There are so many local films to look forward to as the year draws to a close, and two of those are the Vice Ganda-led “Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince, The Perya,” and the powerhouse trio of Sharon Cuneta, Richard Gomez, and Kathryn Bernardo in “Three Words to Forever.”
While we have to wait a few more months before we could watch them, we already got a first look on what to expect from their characters!
First, the unkabogable comedian shared his costume on his Instagram Stories last September 13, and it was hilarious (in a freakish sort of way)!

Meanwhile, ShaGom and Kathryn had their look test yesterday, September 14, and are the picture of a perfect family!
Who’s excited for “Fantastica” and “Three Words”?
Vice most recently starred in the superhero comedy “The Revenger Squad” in 2017, while Sharon made her Star Cinema comeback that same year with “Unexpectedly Yours.”
Kathryn’s latest movie “The Hows of Us” with perennial leading man Daniel Padilla is still showing in over 200 cinemas nationwide.

Unkabogable comedian Vice Ganda was, of course, present. This film marks his seventh MMFF entry. His other films “Sisterakas” (2012), “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy” (2013), “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” (2014), “Beauty and the Bestie” (2015), “The Super Parental Guardians” (2016), and “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” (2017) were all part of the yearly film festival.
The “It’s Showtime” host was joined by Bela Padilla, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, Kisses Delavin, Ryan Bang, Chokoleit, Lassy Marquez, MC Calaquian, and “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 6 finalist Joven Olvido.
Raymond Gutierrez was also present, accompanied by his mother and manager Annabelle Rama, to represent his twin, Richard Gutierrez.
2016 Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Jaclyn Jose was also present at the event.
Vice also said during a press huddle that Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber (MayWard) will join them in the movie, as well as Dingdong Dantes and Donny Pangilinan.
Stay tuned for more updates on “Fantastica”!

"Masaya, first time ko na pure comedy, so nagpapatulong ako sa kanya.
Vice Ganda, Richard Gutierrez, Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber (MayWard), Kisses Delavin, Donny Pangilinan (DonKiss), Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte (LoiNie) had a collective, resounding emotion when asked for an update on their highly-anticipated movie “Fantastica: The Prince, The Princesses, and The Perya.”
ANG SAYA NILA. As in, in capital letters.
These stars gamely shared stories on their movie experience yesterday evening, September 29, at the sidelines of the ABS-CBN Ball held at the Makati Shangri-La.
According to Kisses, they came from a shooting earlier that day – 4 a.m. to be exact!
“I’m very happy kasi ‘yung ‘Fantastica’ shooting it’s a different kind of set, lahat tumatawa, every time nagte-take si Mommy Vice. Sobrang masaya,” she said.
Her leading man Donny, meanwhile, prevented himself from dishing out a ~spoiler~ because of the immense fun they had on the set.
Kahapon ‘yung pinakamalala kasi ang ganda nung nangyari – hindi ko puwedeng sabihin kung anong nangyari – sobrang saya and we’re just super excited na makita niyo kung ano ‘yung ginagawa namin ngayon,” he shared. And when pressed for a spoiler, he quipped, “Ang ganda ng mga costume.”
MayWard, during our chance to catch up with them, finished each other’s sentences while talking about their “Fantastica” experience. (Ang mag-“jowa” talagang ‘to! )
We finished late,” Edward said, then Maymay continued, “Pero okay lang naman kasi ‘yung all-cast kasi masaya.”
Both Ronnie and Loisa admitted that doing a fantasy project takes a whole lot of effort and could become tiring at times, but they enjoy doing it nonetheless.
As one of the more seasoned actors among the cast, Richard loves the breath of fresh air that “Fantastica” gives him.
“Bawat eksena, nakakatawa. It’s been great working with Vice and the entire team. Coming from ‘La Luna Sangre’ na medyo dark, ngayon naman comedy, very refreshing.”
Doing comedy is likewise always a welcome change for their co-star Dingdong Dantes, apparently.
And finally, Vice revealed that they’re just a few days away from finishing their shooting!
Three days na lang. Natutuwa kami, ‘pag nagpe-preview kami, masaya na agad, ‘di pa nage-edit, masaya na kami,” he said.
We’re excited to see how their joy while working together will translate to the big screen!

JERRY OLEA: Last shooting day ng MMFF 2018 entry ni Vice Ganda na Fantastika, The Princesses, The Prince, The Perya sa Huwebes, October 11.
“Super-chika silang dalawa! I’m sure, equal exposure yun!” masayang sambit ni Chokoleit.
At pantay raw at equal exposure sina Dingdong at Richard, Tito Gorgy.
What do you think?
GORGY RULA: Very PR, huh?!
Or else...
