^it is different, dont twist what the pope allegedly said to advance the narrative that you want to make. "God MADE you like this" is different from "God Loves you." although the pope also said to him that God loves him.

The conservative and religious keep on perpetuating that God only MADE adam and eve not adam and steve. It has always been viewed that homosexuality and homosexual acts are sins and the pope admitting that God Made homosexuals means that God himself created that "sin".

We are all imperfect, and God loves us all. Same with the homosexual. It is up to us to live our lives striving to find how we can be more pleasing to God.

Free Will is a much abused doctrine

to exculpate God from blame or responsibility

That God respects us so much

such that God will not intervene in our exercise of free will

That God respects free will because He created as in His Image

IF God truly respect our free will

THEN, there will be no STORIES like Noah's Flood,

the killing of First Sons and the destruction of  Sodom and Gomorrah

FOR God had violated the free wills of those VICTIMS who are INNOCENT

(e.g., they follow the God's words to the letters; yet they died in the MERCIFUL [vengeful] hands of God)

Free will is a doctrine that emphasizes INDIVIDUAL's responsibility

while SIN, as theologians would say, has SOCIAL repercussions

thus, the stories of Noah, First Sons and Sodom.

No amount of SOPHISTRY however would justify

the killings of innocent victims whose FREE WILLS were violated

by the Image-Creator Himself

What is my point?

There is INCONSISTENCY in the doctrine of Free Will

vis-a-vis the social concept of sin (social repercussions)

Theologians will shift the blame to individuals

when something seems ABHORRENT to the society

BY POSITING or IMPOSING THE FREE WILL,

thus, freeing God from any responsibility

However,

when there are DESTRUCTIVE social events or natural calamities

resulting to MASSIVE violations of FREE WILLS and even death of the INNOCENTS

Theologians do not blamed God for violating the Man's Free Will

but would console us by saying "THERE MUST BE REASON...

that the reason will be unfold according to God's Plan"

Frankly I do not care about the REASON or for whatever God's Plan

I care for and looking for the sense of FAIRNESS

Respect of HUMANITY

and even of ANIMAL'S RIGHTS (in the case of Noah's Story)

By ANALOGY, you are an obedient son to your parents,

yet when your sibling commits mistakes, you and your offending sibling

were BOTH punished, e.g., parehas kayo kulong sa room or

walang allowance for the day (something like that)
