Aga Muhlach and Alice Dixson are reunited for a movie project after 27 years.

Aga Muhlach and Alice Dixson are currently in Nuuk, the city capital of Greenland, filming a movie whose story is set in that chilly European country.

They have been in Nuuk since the second week of April and will stay there until the second week of May.

Their still untitled movie is a joint venture of Viva Films and Misschief Productions under the direction of Veronica “Roni” Velasco.

Prior to this project, Aga and Alice worked with each other for these two films: Hot Summer (1989) and Joey Boy Munti (Batang Ama) (1991).

Aga was last seen in the family drama Seven Sundays, which was released in October 2017.

A month later, Alice was seen in the horror flick, The Ghost Bride, which was top-billed by Kim Chiu.

Direk Roni’s first two directorial jobs, Inang Laya (2006) and Maling Akala (2007) had Pablo Biglang-Awa as co-director.

She went solo at the helm of Last Supper No. 3 (2009), I Do (2010), Tuhog (2013), and Dear Other Self (2017).

Pareho raw excited sina Aga at Alice to work together, ayon sa balita sa kanya.

At para mapa-’oo’ nila sina Aga at Alice na parehong maselan sa kanilang tinatanggap, aba, this must be really special.
    Naman!

Lea Salonga Finally Reveals The Reason Why Aga Mulach Did Not Become Her Partner In Real Life

The Broadway star’s tandem with Aga Muhlach made a lot of the 90s moviegoers gush.

Aga Muhlach and Lea Salonga might’ve parted ways in showbiz but their fans still get kilig especially when they read Aga’s letter for Lea saying she is “the one that got away.”

During the latest episode of the morning show Magandang Buhay, the Broadway star admitted that she was also speechless with Aga’s  letter because she had no idea about the “very sweet, very well written, and very heartfelt” love letter.

“I was in shock. We asked him kasi to write a message. I was going to different people para dito sa librong ito. Of course, how do we not ask him to make a contribution? And then all of a sudden, we got the submission from Aga,” she shared.

“[My editor and I] were both in shock. Kaming pareho, we were looking at his letter. We were like, ‘Oh my God.’ The only reaction was ‘Wow!’ Yun lang. Frozen in my chair,” she added.

Lea then shared that they never became a real-life couple despite having projects together because the timing was not right. However, she said that they’re good friends and that’s way better.

“Bad timing talaga because when we were shooting ‘Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal,’ ako iyong may boyfriend sa totoong buhay. Noong ‘Sana Maulit Muli,’ during the first part, umiiyak-iyak siya because he had just broken up with a girlfriend. And then naghiwalay muna kami because he had another movie to make, and I had a musical. So we started doing ‘Sana Maulit Muli’ again. Nagka-girlfriend ulit. Ako naman ang single. So talagang hindi kami meant in real life,” she said.

Lea and Aga worked together in the movies “Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal” (1992) and “Sana Maulit Muli” (1995).

THE UNBEATABLE LEADING MAN: Aga Muhlach, tinuhog sina Bea Alonzo at Alice Dixson

    Bea Alonzo and Aga Muhlach

BONGGA ang pababalik pelikula ni Aga Muhlachafter years of absence.

After muli humarap sa kamera via Star Cinema’s Seven Sundays (with Ronaldo Valdez,Enrique Gil, Cristine Reyes and Dingdong Dantes), kung saan nakakuha siya ng acting nomination mula sa EDDYS Award as Best Actor na mangyayari ang parangal ngayong Lunes, July 9 sa Solaire Resort and Casino ay super active si Morning ( palayaw niya) dahil dalawa at sabay pa ang pelikulang ginawa ng aktor.

Una ang pelikulang first time nila pagtatambalan niBea Alonzo under the direction of Paul Soriano.

Sa katunayan, kababalik lang nila after almost two weeks of shooting sa Vancouver, Canada kung saan ayon sa actor: “Wow, I enjoyed working with Bea.”

As of this writing, ang alam ko ay wala pa rin titulo ang pelikula (is it true na ang titulo ng movie nila ni Bea ay based sa pangalan ng mga karakter nila sa movie na tipong Sid and Aya?).

    Alice Dixson and Aga Muhlach

Ang second film ng aktor ay ang movie naman nila ni Alice Dixson sa direksyon ni Roni Velasco at sa malayong Greenland pa ang location shooting.

Sinulat ng actor sa kanyang IG account: “I’m proud of this movie. Thank you for this wonderful experience. You made everything easy for us. Those difficult scenes you made it made it so easy to do. Let’s work again soon,” mensahe ng aktor sa kanyang director.
