in Buhay Pinoy

Mr. universe or Lgtbqrst universe?

There is nothing wrong in appreciating female beauty. If you have a problem with that, go live with the Taliban.
Miss Universe to some degree is somewhat less crude since they have to show some sort of good qualities and advocacies and they have a question and answer portion to show their wit and charm, fashion walk to show a bit of skill.
Mr. Olympia is all about looks (slightly on form). I've not myself competed but my friends who have the stories and intricacies of this "sport" it's not it's hilarious.
In the truer sense, it's more a beauty pageant than Ms. Universe.
I'd rather watch ***** to see girls naked and I dislike all pageants, but that's just my two cents.

I'd rather watch ***** :glee:
They're not looking at how "strong" their muscles are, they're not even looking solely on how big it is...they looking at their physique (ie beauty) and how it looks. Proof: why they all (whether it's your neighborhood 'bodybuilding' competition to a national one) wear tan.
They don't ask them for their performance, how much they lift, maybe slightly on the flexing abilities, what community service they had done...all they care about is their looks.
And there had been male pageantry much older than Miss Universe:
...and recent ones as well, they're just not as big a competition.
When we see, as example, your view of "equivalence"...when there are "men only" competitions we don't say "let's stop the men's competition" because there aren't any women, we say "let's also have a women's competition". We call that what? "Open mindedness"?
Maybe the solution is not to ban Ms. Universe but to ask for a male version as well.

How about native tribal women, they don't wear any tops at all. They show boobsies and all.

Does this degrade tribal women from the past?
Mukha kang terorista e.
Mr. Universe? Meron, *****.
Not a fan of beauty pageants either and I cringe sometimes at Peenoise dedication to Miss Universe, but some people draw inspiration and sees it as form of expression so maybe it isn't all bad.
