Do you guys still give to street beggars?

I know it's the most charitable thing to do. It feels good to help others in need. So, I was in EDSA yesterday. There was this chubby woman with a blind beggar going from car to car knocking on their windows to beg for money. I was kind of in a bad mood yesterday because of something. When this beggar knocked on my window, I got irritated and told them, "Bawal yan! Bawal yan!" I don't usually do this. My first time. I usually knock on my window to tell them NO.
But, I raised my eyebrow because I was surprised at the attitude of this chubby woman who was holding the arm of the blind beggar. She was so polite going from car to car. But, her true color showed. She snapped at me, very annoyed said, WALANG BAWAL!! WALANG BAWAL! BAWAL BAWAL!
Woah!, ang taray.
That changed my attitude. Are these people playing with our kindness to get what they want? Using a blind person to play the pity card? Paawa effect? I hate being conned and played around. Obviously, it's a racket. The chubby woman looks really well fed. They know they have better chances in collecting money to use a blind man or children.
It's not the first time I've encountered rude beggars. One time I gave coins left in my car. It was all 25 centavos with other coins with the hole in the middle. I gave it to a beggar but he threw it away on the road and walked away pissed. I was shocked. Sayang naman. Tsk!
So, would guys still give to beggars knowing fully well they are just playing with you, showing a different face? They are no different from a con artist/scammers.

They're really beggars. Mostly the idle family members of homeless families and they do begging while the father is out scavenging for garbage for reselling or doing odd jobs. If they get P100/day from begging, that's already more than enough for their food for the day.
Ako, I give. Fraud or legit, if you have to walk under the sun in the midst of traffic 6 hours a day for a few coins, you must be really badly in need of money. The situation speaks for itself. Giving P10 or even P20 won't make me poor anyway.
There's lot of beggars whether in Asia or in Europe.
This is for a very good reason. Children are easily exploited by criminal elements and it's a danger for them to beg along highways where cars are speeding at 100kph. Giving only encourages them to beg and endanger their lives on the road.
Every time you give, you are breaking the law, endangering the lives of street kids and supporting criminal elements. Begging is not the only activity they do. They are also master pickpockets, snatching, stealing from shops, holdups and etc.

Kapag matanda na , may kapansanan at bata, nag bibigay ako. As much as possible eh pagkain.

But I do give to charity. Usually in kind. Also, pag may batang nagtitinda (e.g banana-q, kakanin, handicraft, etc.) -- we buy more than we actually want to eat. Pag afford namin bilhin lahat ang paninda, inuubos na namin. That isn't mendicancy naman kasi, so ok lang.
K. Fine. Obsessed.
Ang bait mo naman.
My heart goes to this little girl.
Ok din sa akin yung batang nagtitinda. Kahit di ako kumakain sa tinda niya bibili ako para makatulong at the same time maturuan siya ng lesson sa tamang paraan para magkapera na di manghingi kungdi pagtrabahoan.
