The International (TI) is an annual Dota 2 eSports tournament hosted by Valve Corporation, the game's developer. The first tournament took place in Cologne, Germany at Gamescom in 2011 and was held shortly after the public reveal of Dota 2, with a total prize pot of $1.6 million. The second International took place in 2012 at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle, and retained the same $1.6 million prize structure. For the third International in 2013, again at Benaroya Hall, Valve introduced an interactive, digital "compendium" which fans could purchase to follow the event and contribute to the prize pool; which reached a $2.8 million prize pool with $1.2 million added from compendium purchases.

Team Liquid are the victors of The International 7, a Dota 2 tournament with over $24 million in prize pool. The European squad will take home the lion’s share at $10,806,301 after an historic 3-0 sweep of team Newbee.

Yung 2 Pinoy teams natin kahit natalo man ay uuwi ng may milyones. Php18M for TNC, Php5.9 for Execration.

When I was younger, I was a hardcore gamer. I had subwoofers that could break glass when I use a shotgun or any exotic laser blaster.

But, as you grow older, you no longer have any time for this as you have a lot or responsibilities to take care of.

My kids love MineCraft (PSP) and Roblox (iOS). The good thing about these games, kids can explore their creativity and they do problem solving too. They can spend more hours playing these games.

Depends on the game I guess. There are tons of video games where kids can learn at a very young age.

My youngest daughter (a 2 year old) have learned a lot of words from just simply watching youtube.

But then, they knew they have to exercise atleast one hour per day. They go for swimming and hide and seek. Or just simply play physical games. I've introduced them Piko, Patintero, jumping jack and tumbang preso. They enjoy it naman.

In my opinion, video games are designed for us to enjoy when we are bored... But to give up your studies for the sake of video games, they just proved that they are shallow... wala kang future dyan.. mga sumasali sa tournament like dota 2? it's temporary.

^Eh di why do you put hours and hours to video games? You keep talking about going to school you haven't even gotten close to an associate degree. At least get your fat azz and follow your dad's footsteps at least mag enlist ka or siguro join the MMDA at least para masabi mo kay papa na nakauniform ka na brod.

Yea, i play video games, but I choose my studies over video games anyday... some people chose to stop their studies to focus on playing video games.. i balanced my studies and playing a game. learn preposition, dude. It should be "Why do you put hours and hours on video games" not "TO"...

    For me, yes.

I'm a fighting game fan and I get entertained when I get to learn and execute combos, and kick s$$ or get mine kicked online. It's fun to win and fun to lose. You also train your reflexes

nah I'm not much of a 3D-plane fighting game fan. I played a little Tekken but the mechanics and defense options are too much for me to burden along with the sidestepping mechanic, plus the frame timing, hitboxes, and combos are way different sa mga nakasanayan ko in 2D fighting games. I do love me some Soul Calibur sometimes though.

I'm more of a Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter kind of guy. Currently learning Injustice 2 for an upcoming tournament. :)

May mga pamangkin din ako. May psp, ds, ps3, ps4, xbox, wii, ipad.

Parang yung pokemon go. Laos agad. Nakakasawa. May nag COC pa ba?

Counter strike, battle realms, starcraft, ragnarok. Gunbound. Halflife. 02jam. Dati kasi lan lan lang. kaya masaya. Ngayon online gaming. Bahay lang maglalaro.

Videos games like minecraft and Roblox, the game developers actually design the game so one can explore hence the only limitation will be your imagination.
