Banco De Oro Unibank, Inc. is now the exclusive Issuer of both American Express and Diners Club International in an amazing and gorgeous island country called Republic of the Philippines. Philippine Franchise of AMEX was acquired from Equitable Card Network when BDO merged with Equitable-PCI bank in 2006 while DCI was selled from Security Bank in 2016.
American Express and Diners Club International have both segmented its market by brand loyalty and income and targets a higher-spending clientele.

Established in 1850, American Express is a U.S. multinational financial services corporation and is best known for its credit card, charge card, and traveler's cheque businesses. It is the largest card issuer in the world based on purchase volume. It is the 4th largest card network in the world, based on the number of cards it has in circulation
Established in 1950 (a century after AMEX was founded), Diners Club International was the first independent credit card company in the world, and it established the concept of a self-sufficient company producing credit cards for travel and entertainment. Another BDO Diners Club Credit Card again? To be issued starting August 15, 2017.
Please be guided accordingly.

Anyone knows what to answer therightone asks.
Sa ibang BDO POS meron nga tip line. Haven't tried it though.
Medyo underwhelming din yung kit. Wala naman iniba compared to the standard cards. haha
How does one go about requesting for a dollar charge card? Akala niya yung normal centurion yung "Green card". Parang ok for me na may exclusively USD card para di nakakalito. Use the peso platinum for peso then the USD for the others. Kahit yung green nga lang eh. Wala ri masyado iniba yung Gold charge card eh. Sa online website ng AMEX, may application links for the green and gold pero mukhang magsusubmit ulit ng docs, which I don't want to do.
Sa branch naman, I checked and may "others" na may blank sa ilalim ng AMEX. Ano kaya ipapasulat doon?
How does one go about requesting for a dollar charge card? Ussually, the BDO Head Office will offer you an IDC.
Akala niya yung normal centurion yung "Green card". Kung 6318000 ang unit na nakakausap mo, baka they're not aware of IDC. May separate contact center kasi ang AMEX Elite Cards and IDC. Sa BDO credit cards, "Centirion Green" ang nickname ng THE AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD habang Centurion Gold at Platinum ang sa THE AMERICAN EXPRESS GOLD/PLATINUM CREDIT CARDS. Iyan ang term na ginagamit sa BDO. Do not be confused it with IDC.
Sa branch naman, I checked and may "others" na may blank sa ilalim ng AMEX. Ano kaya ipapasulat doon? I guess, since that branch endorsement form is for Credit Cards and Personal Loan, ito ay para doon lang at hindi sa IDC.
Congratulations, gibsonfan, to your BDO/AMEX Elite Cards...
Please give me an increase of additional 85,000-Peso CL for my AMEX Credit Card, so that I can upgrade now to AMEX Platinum Credit Card. Currently, I only have 365,000-Peso Limit in my AMEX.
Sincerely,
STRONG7POWER

haha sayang to a... local spend lang kasama... pasok sana yun transaction ko sa SG last week!!
Kaso wala namang 360 Fitness Club dito.
I'm still eyeing for
-AMEX Platinum Credit Card
-AMEX CX Elite
-Visa Platinum
-JCB Platinum
-CUP Diamond

Naisip ko nga rin noon, parang di nila maadjust after the fact (due to security reasons). Abroad, parang before they swipe yata sinusulat ang tip kung tama pagkaalala ko. I tried to use cash pa rin kasi nakakatakot kung mali pagbasa ng tip line baka malaki macharge.
Thanks for the detailed reply.
That explains it. Parang di talaga aware ang hotline ng BDO for the charge cards. Ilan na rin nakausap ko about it. I wonder if meron nang naka apply online dito sa green/gold at nakakuha. Nung sinubukan ko, parang new card app ulit kaya nakakatamad.
Yeah, baka di rin sila aware about the dollar cards. Subukan ko this week itanong sa BOA, just in case. Ultimate goal pa rin yung Plat charge card and first step I guess talaga magka charge card.
I have 7 cards with them so far.
CASH-IT-EASY
This is open to pre-qualified Principal credit cardholders (again, take note, pre-qualified Principal credit cardholders) of MasterCard, Visa, Unionpay, JCB and The American Express Credit Card issued by BDO (Cardholder), whose accounts
are active & current at the time of application and have received an SMS (Communication) from BDO about the Promo
In short, (sad to say), this is NOT for everyone. It is ONLY for pre-qualified Principal credit cardholders who have received SMS/text.
See the current promo: BDO 0.70% Cash-It-Easy Low Rate Promo
https://www.clg.bdo.com.ph/documents/clg/Promo%20Mechanics%202017_CIE%200.70%25.pdf
CASH-IT-EASY is different from EasyPay Cash, EasyPay Convert, and Cash Advances that are readily available as credit card features in an instant and BDO Simple Installment Card.
The trickiest part of all this is the fact that two of the worlds largest card networks American Express and Discover/Diners Club International also works as the credit card issuers aside from partnering with other financial institutions. In other words, credit cards on the AMEX or DISCOVER/DINERS network are predominantly issued by American Express and Discover/Diners Club International respectively, while a card on the Visa or MasterCard network could be issued by a financial company like BDO, BPI, Metrobank, RCBC, PNB, or UnionBank, but NOT from Visa or MasterCard.
AMEX and DINERS/DISCOVER caters to exclusive clients and consumers with higher credit scores. They are known for their efficient customer service.
In other words, AMEX and DISCOVER/DINERS are both works as a card network/association and a card issuer.
AMEX has its own Contact Center in the Philippines.
^I don't get this design. Bakit putol yung border sa ilalim? Curious lang.
