So 8 teams will enter the WC from Asia (top 7 in the qualifiers and China as a host).

So tama ba pagkakaintindi ko, assuming China enters the top 8 (quarterfinal round), yung nasa top 8 ay automatic pasok na lahat sa WC? Regardless ng position ng China sa Top 8, let us say 3rd place, yung number 8 team is still qualified sa WC tama ba?

Sana dating format nalang. Okay ako sa home and away pero bakit kelangan may phases pa at i divide

    C - Aguilar, Fajardo
    PF - Almazan, Rosario
    SF - Norwood, Abueva
    SG - Wright, Maliksi
    PG - Castro, Romeo

I still believe Rosario is the better PF than CBC. 3rd PG is still open (Maliksi over Jalalon).

Kung pwede lang sana yun Fil-Ams na walang passport when they turned 16:

    C - Fajardo, Standhardinger, Slaughter
    PF - Blatche, Aguilar
    SF - Norwood, Clarkson
    SG - Wright, Lassiter, Romeo
    PG - Castro, Pringle

Alternates would be Ross, Almazan and Abueva

Since Isiah Austin proved he can be our naturalized player, may move na ba in the Congress to formalize his appointment? Alam ko matagal na proseso ito, though before we got help from Rep. Puno (?) and Yeng din yata.

Since tight na yung timeframe na yan, most likely same line up on the 1st away game. And a little tweak when we host the 1st home game.

Yung kay Austin, alanganin na yan sa nov games. Its a choice between Blatche and Standhardinger.

If si C-Stan mapili pwede siguro kasi later pa abl. But how about Drey may conflict yata with cbl. Chot can finalize the lineup later but the training should start soon.

I think Kiefer and Troy will now be included in the lineup. If we stick to the team that played in FIBA Asia Cup, who shall be replaced?

I think coachot will stick with the originals vs Japan (away). He will then replace Jalalon with Ravena and CBC with Troy vs Ch Taipei (home). One player who I think has a shot is Maliksi maybe he will be inserted either vs Ch Taipei or vs Australia.

Practice will start Nov 3. If longer prep sana mas maganda.

Kapag natuloy yung trade, it looks like :

    - Standhardinger IN, Fajardo OUT vs Japan and Chinese Taipei

    - Standhardinger OUT, Fajardo IN vs Australia

My new line for FIBA Qualifier would be:

    C - Austin, Fajardo,Slaughter
    PF - Stanhardinger, Aguilar
    SF - Norwood, CBC
    SG - Wright, Maliksi, Romeo
    PG - Castro, Amer
  • drei221drei221 Headbang ✭✭✭
^^ No offense, but with Amer's lackluster performance last Finals his stock decreased. Kiefer is a better substitute. The scenario posted by Tambayan is highly likely, JMF and CStan will share/alternate the first two slots, with Almazan, Troy and Austin (if paired w/ JMF). But the problem is Austin's paper, Dray is an option if it will not interfere sa CBL. So tingin ko:

C: JMF/C-Stan/Austin/Dray (one or two lang ang pwede jan)
PF: Troy, Almazan, Aguilar (alternate C if needed)
SF: Norwood, CBC (Abueva is also possible)
    SG: Wright, Pogoy, Romeo
    PG: Castro, Kiefer

Problema lang sa Center, pag walang pwede kay Austin (Malabo na ito this Nov) at Dray. Mapapakiusapan kaya na ipahiram BOTH CStan and JMF ng sabay.

It's a good lineup pero hindi nga pede dalawang naturalized!
Austin is naturalized, Stardhardinger is naturalized fyi.

I agree. I thought Amer can follow the footsteps of LA Tenorio in international scene. Seeing how he caved in during finals, I don't think he can handle the pressure in international stage.

But who knows. It's not like he's facing 50K fans live rooting him to mess up. His skillset is ideal in international scene. He was solid all season long until the Ginebra series. MVP ties too. Mental lang siguro problem nito. He's been a champion in all stages of his career (2x HS, 5peat College, 3x Dleague, and 2x SEAG). He knows how to win.
