Buying a second hand Toyota in the Philippines

Hi everyone, newbie to the forum and new to the Philippines. I will live in the country for about 2 years and im thinking of buying a second hand car or rent one.

Toyota is my preference since i think it's durable and good fuel economy over years.

Tsikot is a reliable site for browsing second hand cars or any other sites u can suggest?

What should i consider when I want to buy a car in the Phil. Sorry, im so new to the country. Just been here for just a couple of weeks...

Tsikot is a good site for browsing used cars online. And OLX also. There are many sources of automotive classifieds that you can check out.
I am actually the owner of one of them. My site, Philkotse.com is still relatively new, since we just started a few weeks ago. But I think you should have a look at our selection of more than 14k used Toyota here:

I would advise you to ask the seller of any used car you're interested in to show maintenance records, things like records of change of oil or oil filter after 50,000 km.

Thank you for your suggestion. Friends recommend me tsikot site for browsing cars. But seems like philkotse has a Yaris of my favorite color and it's being sold in Quezon where I will live

Toyota cars are a good and safe choice. Parts are plenty, reliability is excellent, and resale value is high, though this also means that 2nd hand prices are also much higher than other brands. Some more popular Mitsubishi models are also pretty good.

There are many top websites: Olx, Tsikot, Philkotse, Carmudi, Autodeal. But I think the very best place to buy a used car is from a family or friend who has a well maintained car that they wish to sell or trade for a new one. You already know the vehicle has been maintained and who drove it.
