Joeriz here, CNN has no website of its own where it can have it as a source?
I repeat, a three day increase from Dec.31 is a weak stand to believe that will hold for the rest of the year. Tell CNN to come up with their "fake" chart by July 1, 2018, then we'll talk!
It is not reasonable to compare prices at this early part of the year 2018! Less than a week! If we admit that, then also admit that to multiply the difference given in less than a week by 26, the result will be the price difference by mid 2018?
Instant noodles will have a price increase of (.03 x 26) PhP .78!
in similar manner:
Canned sardines will increase by PhP 1.04
Coffee refill by PhP 1.04
Pandesal by PhP 1.56
Loaf Bread by PhP 3.64

Will we need a backpack of Pinas money, just to buy our weekly groceries?
The problem with price increases is that they are very rapid to rise but very slow or seldom drop when situation changes or economy stabilizes.http://media.philstar.com/images/the-philippine-star/business/business-main/20140731/pse-BUS3.jpgMore interesting to watch is how the Pinas stock market will react to TRAIN in 2018.
It already showed some decline last week of December 2017.
