Pres. Duterte as a religioius reformer?

Why is Pres. Duterte always bashing the Catholic Church, yet he has had all his schooling in Catholic schools?

He is complaining no end about having been molested by a priest during confession.

It seems that he has not achieved wisdom in respect of moving on, from having been pedophiled when in his youth from a priest.

There are a lot of Catholics who have achieved wisdom with moving on, and continuing with the Catholic Church notwithstanding all its warts down the course of history.

And like it or not, it has survived for two thousand years and it sure is not going into extinction any time at all.

But I like to bring to your notice, guys here, that he said yesterday, those who want to go to heaven, they can continue with priests and bishops, something like that, but those who dare to go to hell like him, they can join him in hell, but he is going to save the country.

I think he is the first exceptional president that takes on the drug menace, the challenge of getting the communist rebels to return to the fold of the state, and also the break-away Moro factions, and he hopes to do away with the thuggish Abu Sayyaf gang, and also other such terrorist kidnap murderous bandit groups with some smattering of religion i.e. Islam of the fanatical homicidal or even murderous bent - have you guys noticed that our local Muslims no matter how zealous with their faith, they don't go into self-suicidal bombing, they take the care to not blow themselves up, with their victims, that is to their credit(?) of being Pilipinos - hahaha.


Withal I see Pres. Duterte to be in terms of religion, a religious reformer, and beneath his blasphemous words, the man has religion of the Western monotheistic kind, from having been brought up in Catholic schools.

What do you guys here say?

Duterte lacks strategical insights to push forward his aims. He could use the Catholic Church in his war against drugs. The Church could sponsor community based projects that will prevent the youth to be victimized by drugs.

On topic, the TS is obviously butthurt whenever Digong bashes the church. It's not a matter of moving on or not. It's the blatant hypocrisy that the priests have that triggers his bashing spree. The public ought to know what the church is hiding and that these priests are not the kind of people you put on a pedestal.
