Hizon's Catering Disaster

To Hizon's Catering,

We enjoyed and loved our wedding last November 26, 2016 at Versailles, Alabang. We are still celebrating our honeymoon but we really need to raise a few questions for you.

1. Our agreed guest count was 160 (+10% buffer right?). But due to rain and traffic our guest count ended up only at 135. So bakit kinulang yung appetizers pero kayo naman ang nag serve ng portions? Bakit yung ibang guests namin kailangan pa humingi sa VIP table for appetizers? It rained, may traffic, after lunch ang start ng reception namin, that is the main reason we paid for appetizers for our guests kasi alam namin pag dating nila - gutom sila.

2. When some of our guests asked for appetizers, do you really have to give just a plate of appetizers for a 10 pax table? 5x appetizers yun diba and again 160 ang agreed head count natin.

3. When my mom started to get mad dahil kinulang sa appetizers, she was referred to the head waiter which referred her to the supervisor who was (hiding) on the 2nd floor. Ano ang ginagawa ng supervisor ninyo sa second floor if our reception is held at the ground floor grand ballroom?

4. We paid x,xxx pesos per plate for buffet and we have 2x kinds of pasta, pero kailangang papiliin ninyo ang guests namin kung either pasta lang, kung white OR red sauce lang? We paid for buffet right?

5. Appetizers palang nagreklamo na yung ibang relatives ko, kaya when the program ended, binantayan kayo sa pag balot ng natirang food. Bakit sobrang dami pa palang leftover food?

After receving honest feedbacks from our family and guests, the only criticism that we got was on your catering service. For our wedding we worked on a budget but sa food ng guests kami hindi nagtipid that's why we paid extra sa kinuha namin na package ninyo tapos kayo pala mismo ang titipid sa amin. We felt cheated.

From us newlyweds: Double thumbs down. Not recommended.

    are they anyway connected sa hizon's in malate? sinisira nila ang magandang pangalan nung legendary restaurant.

    i called them out sa fb kasi i spent wondrous times sa restaurant sa malate. suki kami dun since bata ako. and insults me, personally na they share that name at ganoon ang service nila. sinisira nila rep nung hizon's sa malate.

    stipending the food is a common practice in most catering. the waiters and crew are waiting for a bribe or tip from the guest who wants more food.

    kahit yun food na hindi nila dala tinitipid pa rin. this happened to us when we brought 3 litsons to a buffet. the litson was not placed at the buffet table and the guest were just given a plate to share.
