Dad with amblyopic

Hi all, my dad had amblyopic a few years ago and he had treatment for that, but he seems to be losing his vision nowadays. He is hardly seeing things and falls down often. He is 72 now and we are planning to consult another doctor and to arrange a second surgery. As I am too busy with my office works, I appointed a home nurse for him from Prestige Care ( http://www.prestigecare.com/ ). I need your suggestions regarding this second surgery? Will it be more complicated? Will he recover after the surgery?
