Aside from the usual company-wide events such as summer outings, kick-off and year-end parties, and sportsfests, there also are other activities that the employees themselves come up with. There's this group called the Employee Programs team which takes care of overseeing activities such as food booths, Trick or Treat Day, VDay Celebration and other what-nots (I think recently, people from dayshift operations even had this Thank You Day thing which I really find cute, IMO).
Even events directly related to business such as the Quarterly Company Review (QCR) and the weekly Half-Hour are as enjoyable. Employees get to perform and even compete (and boy, the folks are really competitive! ). There even are dance groups made of senior recruiters and internet researchers who regularly perform in these events. I also like the fact that the leaders really take the time and the money to organize the QCR and even the Half-Hour to ensure that all of PSG's employees are in the know.
Another thing I find impressive is that the company also has its own brand of advocating corporate social responsibility (CSR). Back then as a college student in UP specializing in social development work, CSR is something I've learned extensively about. When I found out that PSG has a Corporate Citizenship Group (CCG) organizing various outreach activities targeted to help various sectors such as the indigenous people (IPs), I was really amazed because the company was able to mobilize people to do volunteer work. More remarkably, majority of the members of CCG are from Operations. Come to think of it, most well-known companies in the Philippines even have separate arms dedicated to CSR work (just to ensure that they do their share in social responsibility). In PSG, our leaders do not even need to hire people to do CSR work - its current employees are actually the ones volunteering to do CSR work for free. Now that's what we call in social development work, effective resource mobilization.
It's more fun in PSG.

Tell me more about this program. And to those currently working for this firm, how much is their ceiling for a senior recruiter's basic pay?
