This encompasses anything about AJBP which can be of any topic anytime, anyways, and in this order from the wonderful Jolie-Pitt FAMILY they have created together including their kids or extended members of their family to the CHARITIES or humanitarian work or causes they are passionate about (e.g. AJ's UN work etc & BP's MIR) and about their respective CAREERS (actress/actor, producer, director, screenwriter).

Feel free to post anything about our favorite couple whose combined names as well as individuals has become a "brand" or created great effect/ impact in every sector of the society. Undeniably, their presence is felt everywhere whether physically, in spirit, heart & mind. Because they are so successful in their careers as well as in their other endeavors in life, people talk about them & of course believe them. Thus, their clout is unprecedented, unrivaled & unparalleled. They have much power in everything they do (for instance producers/directors go after them or they can recommend to change scripts etc). They have influence in a sense that they have credibility to ask or encourage help & assistance from others to their causes (they are not afraid to talk to politicians/ world leaders etc). And of course, because they do remarkable things, they inspire people. Through their work, they indirectly/ directly encourage other celebrities/ personalities to also be of help to those who are in need, financially or whatever. Also, their wonderful family becomes an inspiration to a lot of people, that despite AJBP's busy schedule, they have find ways on how to build a family with love & care.

'Kung Fu Panda 3' Becomes China's Biggest Animated Film Ever

9:56 PM PST 2/28/2016 by Patrick Brzeski

The record is an important milestone for Jeffrey Katzenberg's Shanghai-based Oriental DreamWorks venture, which spared no expense in animating the film in both English and Chinese.

DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg's recent prediction that Kung Fu Panda 3 would become the biggest animated film ever at the Chinese box office rang true over the weekend.

As of Sunday morning, the pic had earned $144.2 million, sweeping past previous record-holder Monkey King: Hero is Back to claim China's all-time animation crown, according to data from 20th Century Fox, which is distributing the film stateside.

According to data from Beijing-based box office monitor Ent Group, Kung Fu Panda 3 had pulled in 975 million Chinese yuan ($149 million) by the end of Sunday. Monkey King: Hero is Back, directed by first-timer Tian Xiaopeng on a budget of just $16 million, came out of nowhere to gross 956 million Chinese yuan (about $144 million at current exchange rates) last summer. In North America, KFP3 has grossed $128.5 million.

The record is an important milestone for Katzenberg and DWA. Kung Fu Panda 3 is the first film from the studio's burgeoning Shanghai-based venture, Oriental DreamWorks, which was established in 2012 in partnership with two state-backed Chinese companies with a combined investment of $350 million in cash and intellectual capital.

On an earnings call last week, Katzenberg said the budding Chinese studio is on a path to becoming "a leading [content] provider in China." After some initial challenges, Oriental DreamWorks is now in a "very, very enviable and valuable position," he said.

Oriental DreamWorks leveraged its Chinese resources to create an innovative dual-language English and Mandarin release for Kung Fu Panda 3. Unlike typical local-language animated releases, which involve simple overdubbing of dialogue, Kung Fu Panda 3 characters' mouths and body language were animated twice to match the nuances of both languages. In the lead-up to the film's release, Katzenberg predicted that many Chinese filmgoers would see the movie twice out of curiosity about the differences between versions.

Oriental DreamWorks hasn't released a box-office breakdown on the performance of the two versions in China, but the studio says it is pleased with how the experiment paid off.

"We are especially excited by the warm reception of our Mandarin version of the movie," Oriental DreamWorks CEO James Fong told The Hollywood Reporter in an email.

"Kung Fun Panda 3 also gives our studio the confidence to continue to develop and produce our own slate of original content, which we will share in the near future," he said, adding: "For Oriental DreamWorks, the best is yet to come."

The Kung Fu Panda franchise has closely tracked the historic growth of the Chinese theatrical market, which is expected to surpass North America next year as the world's largest. The first film grossed $26 million in 2008 and the second earned an estimated $92 million in 2011 — and each installment has reached a record high for animation in the country.

Although Kung Fu Panda 3 has been overshadowed during the latter half of its run by local titles such as The Mermaid — the Stephen Chow blockbuster has pulled in an astonishing $480 million since its release at the start of Chinese New Year in early February — the former pic has continued kicking, adding modest but steady daily earnings. And it can be expected to continue adding to its animation record: Late last week, the film received permission from Chinese regulators to extend its run by an additional 30 days.

The 5 Best Angelina Jolie Movies

By Kaitlyn Beckner ⋅ Posted on March 1st, 2016 at 9:12pm ⋅ Last edit on March 2nd, 2016

Angelina Jolie is an icon for women everywhere. She's an American actress, filmmaker and humanitarian; not to mention, extremely beautiful. She has several incredible movies under her belt but here are my top 5 favorites:

    5) Hackers

A little bit different from the other titles on this list, Hackers is a 1995 American teen crime thriller starring the likes of Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie. The film follows a group of talented high school hackers and their involvement in a corporate extortion conspiracy.
This movie was really unique for its time, when the internet was still unfamiliar to the general public. It was a fun movie and an incredible performance from Angelina.

    4) Wanted

A 2008 American-German film adaption of the mini comic series, Wanted, features another amazing performance by Angelina. The film follows an account manager named Wesley that discovers he is the son of a professional assassin and then decides to join the society his father was in, the Fraternity. Jolie plays Fox, an accomplished member of the Fraternity who advises Wesley.

This movie wasn't the most praised, but being a fan of the comic series, I thoroughly enjoyed this film adaption. Angelina proves that she can play a bad-*** female and play her well.

    3) Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

I'll admit I'm probably just being biased with this film since I have been a huge fan of Tomb Raider my whole life, but we can't deny Angelina killed it as Lara Croft. I'm not saying this is the best film in the world, it's not - but for what it is it's pretty good. Released in 2001, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is a film adaption of the video game series Tomb Raider. The film focuses on Lara Croft (Jolie) trying to obtain ancient artifacts from the enemy, the Illuminati.
I really think Angelina did an incredible job bringing my childhood heroine to life. She brought all the action and badassery that Lara portrays in the games. The film had a sequel in 2003 called Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, also starring Jolie and this time Gerard Butler.

    2) Girl, Interrupted

Starring Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie, Girl, Interrupted is a 1999 American drama filmed inspired by Susanna Kaysen's 1993 memoir of the same name. Winona plays Susanna, a young girl who checks into a mental hospital after overdosing on aspirin.
I remember the first time I watched this movie, it blew me away. It was the first time I really became a fan of Angelina. It touches on hard subjects of addiction, mental illness, eating disorders and depression - it really tugs on your heart and it's a very emotional movie. Angelina knocked it out of the park in her role as Lisa Rowe, a charismatic girl diagnosed as a sociopath who finds pleasure in mocking and manipulating others. You can just tell she puts her heart into every role.

    1) Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt star in this American action thriller as a married couple who seem to be living a pretty dull existence. You quickly learn they are keeping a pretty huge secret from each other; they are both assassins working for opposing agencies. When they both get assigned to kill the same guy, the truth surfaces. No longer having to keep up their cover stories, they are both then assigned to kill one another which results in some pretty great explosive attacks.

This movie is super fun, full of action and romance. It proudly makes the top of my favorite Jolie movies list. I'm convinced that she physically cannot have a bad role.

I've been a huge fan of Angelina Jolie for as long as I can remember, as I'm sure you have as well. She really makes me feel proud to be a girl with all that she stands for. Her incredible acting is just one of the several amazing things that she can do.

From the Robb Report Luxury Newswire

A full two weeks ahead of last year, due to an exceptional year with its ideal winemaking conditions, Miraval opens the season for Provence Ros? 2015. With its delicate pale pink color and soft gleams, Miraval Ros? 2015 offers exceptional fruit with immense freshness and minerality.

Marc Perrin (Famille Perrin): ? Miraval Ros? 2015 is a nectar of the gods. It is nature at its best, grapes in perfect harmony in the vineyard, and sun of course, because we are in Provence. This vintage all the wines are of stunning quality: white or ros?. It is without any doubt the best vintage yet at Miraval. ?

In 2015 the soils of Provence filled up their groundwater reserves right through winter and spring. The timing of flowering was just perfect, during a hot dry period in May and up to mid-June when a wet spell replenished the reserves. These well timed rains and the earth?s natural reserves prevented any hydric stress in the vines and allowed maturities to progress regularly and rapidly, with no scorch in spite of the heat. This balance has ensured an extraordinary aromatic palette for Miraval Ros? which is beautifully fresh and mineral, with subtle notes of citrus, red fruit and white blossom. In the mouth, the expression of the terroir is revealed with balance and elegance, underlined by a superb tension which confers great length. Aromatic persistence characterizes the palate, finishing in a register which is fruity and saline.

Great news for the 2015 vintage: Half bottles of Miraval are now available!

Angelina Jolie's Surgeon Explains New Trial to Detect Triple Negative Breast Cancer Earlier

    By ABC NEWS

    Mar 3, 2016, 10:51 AM ET

Today is Triple Negative Breast Cancer Day and “Good Morning America” is shining a light on it with the help of Dr. Kristi Funk, Angelina Jolie’s surgeon and the co-founder of the Pink Lotus Breast Center.

Many people have never heard of Triple Negative Breast Cancer, but it’s a type of breast cancer that does not have any of the three most common types of receptors known to fuel most breast cancer growth.

Angelina Jolie Reveals She Had Double Mastectomy to Prevent Breast Cancer

'Angelina Jolie Effect' Still Having an Impact on Breast Cancer

About 10 to 20 percent of breast cancers are triple negative.

“There are three receptors, like little antennas we look for on breast cancer cells,” Funk explained on “GMA” today. “About 75 percent of breast cancers have estrogen and progesterone receptors, meaning these hormones tell the cancer cells to grow. The third receptor, HER2, is a growth factor. But when all three of these receptors are absent we call that ‘triple negative’ breast cancer.”

Funk said this type of cancer is most prevalent in people with a BRCA1 mutation, African Americans, Latinas and women under the age of 40.

It’s important to raise awareness about this particular type of breast cancer because “compared to other cancer types, triple negatives are aggressive,” Funk said. “As a group, triple negatives cause the highest recurrence rates and lowest survival rates of all the breast cancer subtypes.”

“Since there is no pill to take,” Funk explained, “we just kind of sit back and hope and wait” that there will not be a recurrence. If there is a recurrence, however, it’s most likely within the first five years, she said.

However, there may be great news on the horizon. Funk is involved in new research that she says will hopefully make detecting recurrences faster and easier. The clinical trial starts today.

“This is a simple blood test aiming to detect recurrence easily and early at a point where we can intervene and still cure you,” she said.

“The blood test is one of two things. We look at NK Vue, which is natural killer cells. They’re a sign of immune function. The other is Clear ID. It looks at tumor cells," Funk said. "An early trial in London with just 55 patients recently showed that when your natural killer cells drop and your tumor cells go up, this predicts a recurrence eight and a half months prior to it being detectable to imaging. So, now we have this window of opportunity for patients and their doctors to strategize and maybe get a cure before a deadly recurrence.”

Angelina Jolie's Carry-On Bag of Choice Is a Fashion-Girl Classic
March 3, 2016 by Sarah Wasilak

    00020210.jpg

Leave it to Angelina Jolie to travel in style — but her own sleek and sophisticated style. Opting for dark separates per usual, the actress arrived at LAX in a breezy tank, duster jacket, and pencil skirt that she met with knee-high leather boots. Angelina accessorized with a pair of retro frames, but on her shoulder swung her carry-on of choice: a roomy Louis Vuitton bag with the classic monogram print.

Maybe it's just because we're on the hunt for a new travel case, but we have to admit Angie's outfit got us thinking. A timeless design like this one is definitely a safe bet for stowing our essentials when we're on the go — especially given its midsize and neutral, wear-with-anything colorway. Whether or not you're planning a trip, there's no denying you'll reach for an LV duffle again and again. Read on for all the inspiration you need to shop one of your own.

Kenneth Cranham: 'I got £2k a show for Harvey Moon. Now it's £400 a week in theatre'

    By Nick McGrath
    5 March 2016 • 2:32pm

Kenneth Cranham, 71, made his movie debut in the 1968 classic Oliver! but is best known for his title role in the early Eighties ITV sitcom Shine On Harvey Moon. His more recent work includes Valkyrie with Tom Cruise and Maleficent with Angelina Jolie. He is currently starring in the West End production of The Father and lives in London with his wife Fiona Victory and their 21-year-old daughter Kathleen.
    ....
You’ve appeared with Tom Cruise in Valkyrie, Angelina Jolie in Maleficent and Daniel Craig in Layer Cake. Which movie paid the best?

Maleficent was a spectacular Disney film and because I went over the period I was employed to work for I was well compensated for that. I can’t remember exactly how much, but I did earn an extra £10,000 for going past the date, which sounds a lot, but around that time Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt bought a château in France for £65m so my 10-grand didn’t seem so much then.

.... How does it feel to be getting your more modest fee on movies when the megastars are being paid tens of millions?

Having worked with Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie and people like that, you are with people who are living parallel lives really. You don’t exist in the same world at all. It’s a strange one.
