On the side of government, yes. And DISCIPLINE in the case of the individual.

Under development ang Manila Bay ngayon (including MOA complex, Alphaland Bay, ASEANA city, Manila Bay Resorts etc...).

Soon, Manila Bay will be the Las Vegas of the country with lots and lots of casinos under construction.

As long as there are squatters and homeless people in the area, no amount of effort from the government will be able to save Manila Bay and Roxas Blvd complex. Are those squatters residing there really vital to Manila's economy that they cannot relocate them? [#]smh[/#]

Developers remains the same until now.

i'm sure a few of those are no longer valid as well when they realize that adding more casinos is not going to add to the business. it's just the same bunch of people moving from one casino to the next.

especially because city of dreams is not earning money.

they survive mostly from junkets from mainland Chinese and koreans.

One can only imagine how many tons of garbage it contributes every day.

Often times people only see and talk about what they see on the surface. I remember a documentary before that showed the floor of the Bay literally carpeted with garbage. That would entail one heck of a dredging operation.
  • Garbage problem could all be solved in one day if only we had incineration plants like in Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.

No surprise these countries are clean.

I also saw a feature where it was said that some ships unload their garbage at sea.

Manila is not the only source of garbage in Manila Bay. it the major source. Manila Bay is surrounded by Bataan, Bulacan, Cavite, Manila, Pampanga, and Zambales.

we should implement hard labor punishment for prison inmates. they can be used to dredge, sort and recycle garbage out of the bay.
