Dec 26 (yesterday) was boxing day. Sosyal ka ba kung alam mo yun? :handsdown: Kung hindi naman or clueless ka kung ano yun, chinicheer mo ba si Pacman atbp boxers at nagsusuot ka ng boxing gloves para icelebrate yun? :rotfl:

    even canadians don't even know what it's supposed to be for anymore.

    to the amuricans, it's called "after christmas sale"

    it's the time when companies start getting rid of older inventories by marking them wayy down.

    Dito sa barrio namin pista opisyal ang Christmas Day at Araw ng Cajon. Kung matapat ng weekend, pista opisyal ang susunod na Lunes o Martes.

    Kaya iyong mga araw sa gitna ng Araw ng Cajon at Bagong Taon ay tatlong araw lang na may trabaho.

    Naki-boxing day kami sa London noon. We went to Bicester Village, daming Pinoy! Daming sosyal :lol: Medyo sulit naman ang sale. Also went to Westfield, where I bought shoes, toiletries and kikay stuff at awesome discounts.

    Sosyal or pasosyal, I don't care. Sayang ang sale :)

    are you talking about first nations here?

    the francophones and the anglophones are the original immigrants on canada.
    canada has always been a country of immigrants. from the prairie days til today.

    and to close its doors to future immigrants would be canada turning its back from its beginnings.

    Ay nako yun na yung first and last day kong aattend ng boxing day sale. Kalokasuper crowded, haba pa ng pila. Unless bonggang bonggang trip ko yung product, never na akong makikipagsiksikan sa ganun.

    E ako pa naman yung taong mabagal pumili ng bibilhin, yung tipong ilang balik sa dressing room bago makapili, e pila pa lang sa boxing day mauubos na oras ko e. Ay naku wag na lang po. Pumunta na lang kaming beach.

    11 /11 is a shopping holiday in china.

    anyway.. it's not really dedicated to shopping. it just so happens to fall after christmas, and that's the day when sales happen. when stores in the states need to clear their old inventories and go after sales targets
