Wonderful Languages

One evening, my two-year-old son sat in the living room, unusually quiet. I drew near to look at him, finding he was carefully watching two spiders fighting each other in the corner. The spiders’ movements seemed to deliver their dissatisfaction. This reminded me of my childhood. During that time, I often sat in the yard watching ants “greeting each other.” They touched each other with heads and after that they went on with their own journey. I was curious: Why do ants touch each other with their heads when they meet? When I grew up, through various channels I knew that when ants touch each other’s heads they are communicating. Ants’ communication by touching each other with their antennas demonstrates that they have a special language. It is the same with other animals. Each kind of animal has their own special language. For example, dogs use glandular pheromones and body language to communicate. Dolphins use different sounds to “converse”; the length and interval of the sound compose a lot of different “words.” With these “words,” dolphins can deliver messages with each other directly. Besides, simians such as monkeys and orangutans—they communicate with each other through body language, including touch, sound and eye expressions…. This made me speak highly of it and also generated my desire to explore: Who bestows upon them such wonderful languages?

Later, I read a passage of Almighty God’s words, “…in the time before mankind was created, the authority of God was shown forth in all creatures different from mankind, in things as great as the heavens, the lights, the seas, and the land, and in those as small as animals and birds, as well as in all sorts of insects and microorganisms, including various bacteria invisible to the naked eye. Each was given life by the words of the Creator, and each proliferated because of the words of the Creator, and each lived under the sovereignty of the Creator because of the words of the Creator. Although they did not receive the breath of the Creator, they still showed forth the life and vitality bestowed upon them by the Creator through their different forms and structures; although they did not receive the ability to speak given to mankind by the Creator, they each received a way of expressing their life that was bestowed upon them by the Creator, and which differed from the language of man. The authority of the Creator not only gives the vitality of life to seemingly static material objects, so that they will never disappear, but, moreover, gives the instinct to reproduce and multiply to every living being, so that they will never vanish, and so that, generation after generation, they will pass on the laws and principles of survival endowed to them by the Creator.” (from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)

Almighty God’s words enlightened me. God created all things, and endowed them with their own way of expressing life which differed from human’s language, and gave them the instinct to reproduce and multiply. These special ways animals communicate are a witness to the life which the Creator bestowed upon them, as well as a witness to the real existence of the Creator’s authority and the wondrous deeds of the Creator.

The Creator’s deeds are immeasurable. If you want to know more about God’s wonderful deeds, please watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgWf6Cd8xuI&feature=youtu.be
