HELP WITH MY HONDA CITY 2001 Transmission Problem

Car history

- Hasn't not been used that much since 2003 maybe twice a year lang or 3 weeks every year pag umuuwi lang yung grandmother ko. So A month ago sabi nya kunin ko daw para ipa check.


- Wala Syang hatak from gear 1 to 2, mas may hatak pa sa reverse.
- I already changed the ATF and Air Filter medyo nag ok pero hindi padin ganun, kailangan mo talaga pigain and accelerator.

- Pinacheck ko ang pedal and ang wire sa accelerator ang tigas ng pedal and wala naman problem dunsa wire.

- Tas pag di ka nag AC naka idle umaakyat rpm ng 2000.

    I was about to say it's the ATF hehe pero napa-change ATF mo na pala... so now that you've ruled out Transmission... ibang angulo naman...

    R is actually primera (gear 1) in reverse...

    It may be a faulty MAF sensor... probably super dirty na... usually it has to be replaced rather than pa-hanginan sa gas station or bugahan ng carburetor cleaner--sensitive ang sensor, pag nagalaw yan lalo lang masisira...

    That's bad. Madami pwede mangyari niyan... bad things.

    1. Gasoline in tank-water vapors will corrode the tank, pipes, channels... MORE RUST.
    2. Fuel injectors pwede mag-bara.
    3. Throttle valve pwede rin mag-bara.
    4. Gunk in engine... esp. in the oil pan. Gunk is harmful to your engine. I hope hndi pa siya KUMATOK. Overhaul is expensive.
    (Kumatok may be due to very low oil in engine, very dirty oil in engine, sluggish ang paggalaw ng parts dahil madumi... pwede maputol ang rocker arm sa valves or bumaluktot ang valves)

    5. Radiator-similar to number 1. Prone to corrosion because of water. Change the water (drain) para mawala yung acid. Then fill with distilled water diluted with a coolant para lubricated ang pipes and prevents rust also.

    Naisip ko lang... baka kailangan palinis mo yung throttle valve kapag na-replace mo MAF sensor para isang labor na lang...



    Kapag di talaga ginagamit... lalong nasisira...

  • Halos di ginamit ang sasakyan ng 12 taon? Masuwerte ka napapaandar mo pa. Sinubukan mo bang ipa-tune ang makina?
  • ok ang makina nya, ngayon medyo nag improve na siya. actually nung kinuha ko yun, yung mga oil nagkalat sa engine, muntik pa masira din yung steering rack ko dahil wala na siya oil.

    ASk ko lang magkano ang MAF Sensor?

    Tumawag ka sa casa ng Honda at sa suki mong bentahan ng piyesa.

  • Thanks to the people here, na solve na problem ko, MAF nga need *** linisin, yung sa rev need palitan sensor ko
