Are car scratches covered by insurance?

I accidentally bumped my car to the wall at the right side of my car while parking. No major dents or whatever naman but there were a few scratches which I couldn't remove using the scratch remover I purchased months back so medyo deep 'yung scratches and the paint faded. Question is, can I have those scratches fixed by the casa using the insurance as payment? I believe I have to pay participation fee as the accident was partially my fault due to my miscalculation during parking. But how much do you think would I have to pay as participation fee? Should I bring this matter to my dealer and insurance or should I have the scratches fixed first by a carwash/autobody shop? Please advise me on what I should do about the scratches. Medyo OC din kasi ako and I get bothered with the fact that my car has scratches. Haha. Thanks so much for answering ๐

Kung maliliit na gasgas lang pagawa mo na lang nang hindi isisingil sa insurance. Baka mas mura pa kaysa sa participation fee ang magagastos mo.0

The participation fee is indicated in your insurance policy. Usually 0.5 to 1% of your car's insured value.
You will need to pay the full amount of the participation fee per incident or claim.
If small scratches lang - baka mas mataas pa ang participation fee kesa sa repair cost. Best to have it estimated by your casa or a reputable shop. Minsan baka kaya naman ng touch up paint.
I was able to claim for scratches via insurance - when I accidentally scraped a sidecar parked near our garage. Since two panels ang gasgas worth it (P5,000 per panel) while P6,000 yata ang participation fee ko.0
