Apec: Congratulations to the Aquino Administration and to all of us!

My congratulations to the Administration and to our law enforcement officers: police and military. Nairaos ng maayos ang Apec. Although naglakad din ako eh it's a small price to pay. Obligation natin yan sa mga other member states to host so we shouldn't expect much. Sila naghohost din niyan. I am just thankful that walang incidente nangyaring masama kahit kanino sa ating mga bisita noong Apec.

May alam kang lugar that can meet the board and lodging requirements of 10,000 delegates near a convention center and airport sa Pilipinas?
So you mean to say we close down Manila just like what North Korea is doing?Di mo ba alam doon nagdeclare ng supporta si Obama ukol sa mutual defense treaty in case we become subject of military aggression from china? Kasama ang Japan?

A small price to pay because we are part of the community of nations. Marami ding nakuhang donation in terms of equipment ang PNP around 750,000,000.00. Magkano ba barko? Kaya mo ba gumawa ng barco for Php 10,000,000.00 plus the support of the entire united states armed forces? Gaya nga ng commitment ng US na hinayag doon sa APEC: The broader point is, is that as a treaty ally we have a rock-solid commitment to the defense of the Philippines.

The 1996 AELM was held in Subic....the same strategy should have been used by the Yellow administration to lessen the inconveniences caused by the Manila APEC summit. Not to mention the 10B USD losses incurred by the Philippine Airline industry alone as a result of all the flights that were cancelled.A small price to pay because we are part of the community of nations. Marami ding nakuhang donation in terms of equipment ang PNP around 750,000,000.00. Magkano ba barko? it's not just 10B Php. The 10B Php was just the hosting costs. How about the losses incurred by the business sectors? 10B USD alone from the airline industry was lost. Then you factor in the inconveniences that was suffered by the the common Filipinos due to poor planning and decision making by the ABN0Y administration. Kaya mo ba banggain ang China for 10B pesos?
We already have the EDCA to take care of China. So hindi ka naman pala totally against doon sa Apec. It's actually beyond the additional holidays. It's about emphatizing with the common folks. Thousands of Filipino workers lost wages due to the road blockades done for the APEC summit. If PAN0T declared Tuesday and Friday as non-working holidays for all, then those daily wagers wouldn't have lost two days worth of wages.
Clearly, the government lacks foresight and empathy.0 -
You people are missing the point. I'm just glad walang INCIDENTE na nangyari sa mga delegado imagine 10,000 people came into the country to attend the APEC meeting without any mishaps? This happened at a time when muslim extremists were creating havoc in France killing hundreds of people and ISIS is rumored to have blown up a Russian plane killing also hundreds of people! Ngayon kung di niyo maappreciate yung effort ng mga kapulisan at ng militar in ensuring the safety of these visitors - imagine 10,000! Eh wala ako magagawa. Madali lang naman mamintas. Pero paminsan minsan naman you cut these people some slack and give credit where credit is due.0

I agree! For the biggest world event held in a 3rd-world country, the Philippines should be proud! We showed them our usual hospitality and they (world leaders) were again reminded that the Philippines is a beautiful place teeming with intelligent people! Kudos to Pres. PNoy for leading this, I personally think this is one of the biggest highlight of his presidential term!
Just wondering if they were able to visit Ciudad de Victoria!0 -

again, we do know that....but then again, you are the one missing our point......
do common Filipinos feel those gains? the answer is NO. What affected those common folks were the two-days worth of lost wages.....even a single day of lost wage means a lot already in our current society, what more when you lost two days due to our government's chronic incompetence?
We're not criticizing just for the sake of criticizing. What we're doing is exposing the other side of this administration that has been masked by the YELLOW Media.
bring it out in the open so that the people would be able to make informed choices come 2016.0 -

the 1996 AELM is proof enough that we can host big events of the same scale.....what matters to me is how PN0T put a superficial front to the foreign delegates and dignitaries at the expense of our own countrymen......
but then again, his administration really isn't good at anything but blaming others for their own incompetence and failures......0 -

We cannot compare this year's APEC hosting to the 1996 version hosted by former president Ramos.
We move-on, and create our future: a big decision will happen on next year's election. Where are we going? It is the plurality of the voting population shall decide for the fate of this nation as a whole.
Btw, this thread feels like I'm in LAFI. lol0 -

Estup!do. Ikaw nagdivert ng paksa. Claro yung unang poste:

So sino unang nagdivert na b0b0? Ikaw. lols. May casualty ba sa mga delegado? Wala. So in the wake of terrorism around the world, we should congratulate our police forces and our military including the administration for ensuring the safety of 10,000 delegates kung hindi malalagay sa malaking kahihiyan ang sambayanang Pilipino. Eh di lalo kang nagngakngak eh wala ka namang silbi dahil [email protected]***** ka lols. Ako pa daw nagdivert? lols Rogelio ikaw ba yan? lols0 -

BTW, hindi ako nagsinungaling, I was uninformed! O sige!!!
