The deeds of God are immeasurable.

Two days ago, a friend asked me if I would like to watch a flower show in a certain park. She said that various worldwide precious plants and flowers were going to be displayed there, which could widen my horizons. It aroused my interest. Then, my friend and I went to the flower show. Walking into the park, we were deeply attracted by the flowers and plants in different colors and shapes: Butterfly Orchids, Alondra Chrysanthemums, Purple Roses, White Roses, Camellias, Lilies, Chinese Roses
. There were thousands of exotic flowers that I could and could not name, and I had no time to take in the scene as a whole. Some of the flowers were like hydrangeas, colorful and beautiful; some were like butterflies dancing in the breeze; some were like bags being hung and swinging about ones waist; some were like trumpets being played toward the sky; some were as pink and lively as a childs face, watching the passing crowd attentively with their big eyes in the breeze; some were blinking sleepily, while some were nodding and smiling to the passing crowd with a playful expression. My friend said, Some of these flowers can be used as medicines, some can bear fruit for people to eat, and some are only for people to watch. Looking at these flowers of beautiful colors and varied shapes, all visitors were amazed and took pictures as souvenirs. At that time, attracted to several trees that were thin in the upper part and thick in the lower part, I walked around these trees and was reluctant to leave. Their roots were thick up to six or seven feet high, then gradually grew thin; the upper branches and leaves extended around like flower arrangements, as if vases were standing in the park one after another, so all the tourists marveled at them. My friend said, They are the trees that grow in Africa. Their thick roots serve to store more moisture, so that there will be enough water supplied to the upper branches and leaves. The desert plants are relatively small, with dense branches and leaves, because they rely on branches and leaves to help transport water and nutrients to sustain life. And those trees growing in temperate zones are straight stout and have lush branches and leaves.
We were watching while walking. Each of the flowers and trees was so energetic and vibrant. At that time, I thought of a passage of Almighty Gods words, And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth: and it was so. While God was speaking, all these things came into being following the thoughts of God, and in an instant, an assortment of delicate little life forms were unsteadily poking their heads up through the soil, and before they had even shaken the bits of dirt from their bodies they were eagerly waving to each other in greeting, nodding and smiling to the world. They thanked the Creator for the life that He bestowed upon them, and announced to the world that they were a part of all things, and that they would each devote their lives to showing forth the authority of the Creator. As the words of God were spoken, the land became lush and green, all sorts of herbs that could be enjoyed by man sprang forth and broke from the ground, and the mountains and plains became thickly populated by trees and forests . This barren world, in which there had not been any trace of life, was rapidly covered by a profusion of grass, herbs and trees and overflowing with greenery . The fragrance of grass and the aroma of the soil spread through the air, and an array of plants began to breathe in tandem with the circulation of the air, and began the process of growing. At the same time, thanks to the words of God and following the thoughts of God, all the plants began the perpetual life cycles in which they grow, blossom, bear fruit, and multiply. They began to strictly adhere to their respective life courses, and began to perform their respective roles among all things . They were all born, and lived, because of the words of the Creator. They would receive the unceasing provision and nourishment of the Creator, and would always tenaciously survive in every corner of the land in order to show forth the authority and power of the Creator, and they would always show forth the life force bestowed upon them by the Creator . (from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh) Although I often read these words of God before, I had no deep understanding. Then, looking at all kinds of vibrant plants shown in front of me, I found that whether in color, shape, or function, they are all different from one another and none of them were made from the same mold. Moreover, when the Creator created these plants, He made precise arrangements for which place the plants grow in, and for what function they have so that they can better proliferate and exist. This made me deeply feel that the power and wisdom of the Creator are immeasurable! As the words of God were spoken, these plants instantly appeared in every corner of the world. Because of their appearance, the originally bare world was full of vigor and vitality. Until today, they still follow the life cycles in which they grow, blossom, bear fruit, and multiply, and fulfill their responsibility of being something for men to enjoy, which no one can change. Although todays science and technology have reached the peak of perfection, they can do nothing to those various living beings but gaze at them and sigh. As Almighty God says, The life of the Creator is extraordinary, His thoughts are extraordinary, and His authority is extraordinary, and so, when His words were uttered, the final result was and it was so. Clearly, God does not need to work with His hands when He acts; He merely uses His thoughts to command, and His words to order, and in this way things are achieved. On this day, God gathered the waters together to one place, and let the dry land appear, after which God caused grass to sprout forth from the land, and there grew the herbs yielding seeds, and trees bearing fruit, and God classed them each according to kind, and caused each to contain its own seed. All this was realized according to the thoughts of God and the commands of the words of God, and each appeared, one after the other, in this new world. The authority and power of the Creator were expressed in each new thing that He created, and His words and accomplishments occurred simultaneously, without the slightest discrepancy, and without the slightest interval. The appearance and birth of all these new things were proof of the authority and power of the Creator: He is as good as His word, and His word shall be accomplished, and that which is accomplished lasts forever. This fact has never changed: so it was in the past, so it is today, and so it will be for all eternity.(from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh) Checking the facts against Gods words, I see only the Creator has the extraordinary life power, and that His authority is immeasurable! Although all kinds of flowers and trees before my eyes in the park are just representative of flowers and trees from around the world, they are wonderful enough to fill people with awe. It can be seen that the power of the Creator is unimaginable to man. Although those flowers are more amazing after artificial organization and decoration, the essence of their lives given by the Creator doesnt change at all! I recalled my childhood when I often went to the mountain with my little friends to pick the Chinese roses, which had pink, white, and other colors, and then placed them in our rooms. I still remember the unique fragrance. After several decades, the whole world has changed dramatically, but now the Chinese roses are still exactly the same as those picked by me in childhood, without any change. Because God has said, so it was in the past, so it is today, and so it will be for all eternity. This made me have some practical understanding of Gods unique authority and power: He is as good as His word, and His word shall be accomplished, and that which is accomplished lasts forever.
Through watching the flower show, I see everything God created with His word is so perfect and flawless. All kinds of plants, whether growing in a good or harsh environment, live and multiply freely and tenaciously according to the life course set for them by the Creator, which no one can change or destroy. No matter what corner of the world people are in, they can enjoy the beautiful prospect God has bestowed, which makes me truly feel that the deeds of God are immeasurable!

What is good for you? What is good for me? Is everything that's good for you or what you perceive to be "good" the same things that would be good for me or I would perceive as good? Do you know "good" better than me? Do I know "good" better than you?
The goodness of God appears to be the sum total of all of Gods attributes. The goodness of God may thus be viewed as one facet of His glorious nature and character and also the overall summation of His nature and character.
19 Then Moses said, I pray Thee, show me Thy glory! And He said, I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion (Exodus 33:19; see also Exodus 34:5-7).
No matter what God does, whether it's "good" in our perception or not, He being the creator knows what's "good" for us!But it is good to believe in God and love God!

a healthy life is good for you, and for me, and most other people. does god agree or not?
Proverbs 3:1-2, 8
My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity . . . This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones .
It should not surprise us that obedience to Gods commandments and other laws would promote health. When we obey them, we operate in accordance with His instructions.
As our Creator, He knows whats best for us:
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
Exodus 15:26
If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.0 -

akala ko ba "and God saw all that he had made, and it was good" lang?
it was good because it was perfect, one ply, single shot creation. there is no comparison with other creations. He did not make a good creation, better creation or the best creation. he made a single creation so good is the perfect word for it.
And i think it was perfect because he made all possible combinations to exist. from the invisible (infinitely small) to the visible (infinitely large). he gave man free will, which produced sins and virtues. in other words, God made it possible for both good and bad things, the dualities, to exist and us humans can choose if we do bad or good, or to be big or small, or (insert dualities here). The beauty of it is that the things which God do not prefer or the sins that we do are rectifiable. Ask forgiveness with all your heart and you'll be forgiven. Even if you don't ask for forgiveness, God already forgiven you through Jesus. No one will live in Hell. It's a scare tactic employed by humans to keep society in order. I think that it is ok for God for us to even have anarchistic chaotic society. Only the mindset will change. The reverence for death will be upheld. Warrior societies of the past had this. And again, if this is so, God has his reasons.
It's just that peace and order is on the current menu. If values are changed, it won't matter with God. I bet some preacher of that society will say that "The most number of kills from a certain tribe will be honored and is pleasing to God." or "Let's kill each other and live in God's kingdom forever."
You get what I mean? All we can do is think of scenarios and since all are possible with God, all scenarios, however bloody it is or however deafeningly silent and peaceful it is, is still good, according to God.
of course, as I've said, the current mood of society is law and order, and because of that, those who behave well will be rewarded. but again, flip the coin, and God will still be the same, rewarding those act according to what the society dictates.
This is why the barbarism of God in Old Testament and the peaceful-lovingness of God in New Testament is a proof that GOD can do and be all things and be on both sides of the coin. He can be that way because HE IS GOD. That's the trick of understanding the Whole Bible.
If there are only 2 states to be in (good and evil), will you call Him God if he can only be on a single state?
The 4 ways, in my opinion, for him to be called GOD. 1.) He can be Good. 1.) He can be Evil. 3.) He can be Good AND Evil at the same time. 4.) He can be not Good and not Evil, or unknown/undefined.
Moral lesson: You cannot box God in one state. Nothing in this existence CAN CONTAIN HIM.
◄ 1 Kings 8:27 ►
Parallel Verses
New International Version
"But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
So yeah, immeasurable. measurements cannot contain God.0 -
KidlatNgayon wrote: »But take notice na ang pangunahing nourishment ay obedience sa Kanyang teachings or commands!
yeah right.
Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, Follow him through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy; have no pity! Kill them all old and young, girls and women and little children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at the Temple. So they began by killing the seventy leaders. Defile the Temple! the LORD commanded. Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go! So they went throughout the city and did as they were told. (Ezekiel 9:5-7 NLT)0 -
so, what is perfect for humans may only be good for god?
perfect is perfect. just like omniscient is omniscient. if something is perfect then it is necessarily flawless. if some anthropomorphic being finds fault in a perfect thing then that thing is not perfect regardless of the point of view of the observer. anyway, once again, christians have shown their inconsistency. there are other christians who would preach that god never made the universe perfect- that it was only good as the bible claimed.0 -
From these God's word, We saw Under the Authority of the Creator, All Things Are Perfect,"All things created by God, including those which could move and those which could not, such as birds and fish, such as trees and flowers, and including the livestock, insects, and wild animals made on the sixth daythey were all good with God, and, furthermore, in the eyes of God, these things, in accordance with His plan, had all attained the acme of perfection, and had reached the standards that God wished to achieve. Step by step, the Creator did the work He intended to do according to His plan. One after the other, the things He intended to create appeared, and the appearance of each was a reflection of the Creators authority, and a crystallization of His authority, and because of these crystallizations, all creatures could not help but be thankful for the grace of the Creator, and the provision of the Creator. " (from A Continuation of the Word Appears in the Flesh )which makes me truly feel that the deeds of God are immeasurable!0

Thanks for your reply. Don't you think everything Created by God is good? For example God created the sun and the moon ,day and night ,seasons ,flowers and trees ,everything made by God has its usefulness and value, they are all good . Do you have different a opinion of it? May you share your opinion of it with us? Because when God made mankind and gave mankind freewill. He never forces people to believe in him unless people is willing to believe in him.0
